As we all know, most movies based on videogames suck ass. Only a few manage to avoid being awful. So, wich do you think is the worst movie based on a video game and why?
Oh, soooo many choices. The Hitman, Doom and Farcry films were all pretty dire, but personally, I hold a special level of hatred and disgust for the Max Payne film; it was based on one of my favourite game franchises, it featured Marky Mark, and it STILL sucked.
Oh God, the horror.. That movie, why?! I remember that one...so BAD For me, the obvious choice is Mario..
Film Max wasn't even heavily alcohol and painkiller dependant, what's up with that? I didn't even realise there was a Mario film...
Why the Mario Bros? I thought it was an alright movie. The one movie, not only based on a video game but also an anime, was the Dragonball Z movie... I want to destroy the people who made that one. - - Auto Merge - - The Need for Speed trailer? I looked awesome from my perspective! Ian a HUGE gamer, so there are things that may seem bad to you but will look pretty cool to me.
Not really. The movie is bad anyways.Ever watched it? The De Leon race feels like a bunch of supercars, made out of plastic, running at 80mph. But how the hell did they get the Lamborghini Sesto Elmento to destroy it? It was made for track use only :/
Pretty sure the cars they destroyed were mostly just empty body shells given to them by the manufactures; they usually have different versions of the same car for a film: A 'star car' for close ups, another one for stunts and then usually a couple that are meant to be destroyed.
1.It was made for track use.Even if you have the money, you can't buy it to use on the road. 2.Lamborghini only made 20 of them. What the hell did you think Lamborghini will give them some, for destruction?
1. It's a film, filmed on closed roads; they can run the goram batmobile if they want. 2. No, what I'm saying is that Lamborghini will have leant them one or two for the chase sequences, (which wouldn't have been damaged) and then basically given them some fake Elementos, either just empty body shells, or maybe even just fibreglass copies, which they could destroy without writing off millions of dollars worth of engineering.
Anything by Uwe Boll. Not only does he make horrible movies, he's also a horrible human being. He's right near the top of my "Knock The **** Out On General Principle" list.
There's a lot of bad vidya movies, so I'll keep things short, by listing the GOOD ones. *Mortal Kombat *Resident Evil 1 *Street Fighter: The Movie
