I thought it would be a cool and interesting idea if there was a writing competition here on the site. Though I would need the backing of any others not to mention the Admins here, but I think it would be fun none the less. Tell me what you all think about this, because honestly I believe that there a great number of awsome writers right here in the forums that need a little something like this to make not only their fics shine, but also to make us proud that they are here among us.
I don't like to brag, but I believe am a talented writer. Just don't ask me to write a shipping fic, not into that.
Ah in my opinion there would be only the six main categories already listed in the fanfic section, I would totally enter if it ever happened I love writing.
Sure, I'd love to try it... if I had more free time. If I have some kind of prompt, I feel I can write really well. Something like this- as long as it has good guidelines and details- would be pretty fun for me.
Great idea. Like a persuasive essay about which pony is best. That sounds like work... Here's a prompt: Try to write a story set in the Ponyverse in the style of Uncharted-esque adventure.
@ParanoidPenguin- For me the writing will have to be a combo between ponyverse and either a fantasy setting or a Warhammer 40k setting which I already have in the works.

Writing contest? I like this idea, and I would gladly support it, but I need to think up how I would run it. I'll get back to you on that by tomorrow most likely.
Imokaywiththis i have spare time i could be using to write a story, but i waste it all on TF2 xD this would be a great way for me to keep my mind focused
