The new layout does the first one I believe and the second one is already a thing. Like the home button at the top and scroll to the bottom. It should have a list of all those online right now.

A panel showing new posts is a great idea. I recommended it a while ago too. I know there's a section for new posts, but I think a panel looks better and works better.

This SHOULD be available for everyone and it isn't a theme-exclusive feature, meaning it should be available on every forum theme except the mobile theme. Look for a small white button with a blue arrow on the right side of the forums.

If it doesn't appear for you guys, i'll let Mike know about this thread. (though he usually checks these threads anyway)

 

I only knew of the blog one. I didn't know it applied to threads as well. I was talking about in the updated spring theme. It has that thing where it says "person A posted this in thread A"

You mean the Activity Stream? Actually that's also available on every theme, it's just more easily accessed through the SpringUpdate theme.

 

I don't like it. It's way to jumbled. Anyway you can make it so it only shows threads you're subbed to?

There are several filters for the activity stream (top right corner of the activity stream page), but i don't think subscribed threads are part of that filter. Though you can just as easily check a list of your subscribed threads from your profile.

 

I could if I was at home on my PC. See that little thing in my posts, the palm pre bit. That means I'm on my phone. I'll check it when I get home. I know there is a sub section on profiles. So I don't think I need to complain anymore.

The activity stream is more of a site wide activity thing, specifically people on your friend list.

 

Mike switched the Activity Stream for the New Posts since people seemed to prefer that anyway. That happened yesterday ^^;
