Everyone has a bad day sometimes, maybe even a bad period in his/her life. And on Everypony, there seem to be alot. That's why i'm making this thread.

I'm always trying to help when i can, and i figured this might be a good way to cure depression. For once, try forgetting about the bad times, and tell us all about your good times. Because no matter how bad you think your life is, everyone must have had at least one day where you can actually scream "BEST DAY EVER!"

When i turned 19, and i finally convinced my parents i was old enough to live on my own. A few months later i was already living in my own appartement and there wasn't anyone telling me what to do or when to do it. It was something i was looking forward to since... i can't even remember how long ago that was. I was also picking up my driver's license on the same day i moved in, and for the first time since i started high school, it actually felt like i was free again. A day like that is a life changer, and for me, the best day ever.

So share the stories of the best days in your life, instead of lingering on the worst. Your good experiences might even help other people get over their bad ones by giving them something to look forward to.

I've had my fair share of bad days, but now I make sure that EVERYDAY is my best day ever! All it takes is a simple though first thing in the morning and a healthy measure of stubbornness. I think, "Nothing can get me down today" and try to stay calm and happy. It's really astounding what one can accomplish when in a good mood.

It's been too long since I've had something I could call a "Best Day Ever". My uncle's family and my brother went to New York for a vacation lasting about two weeks. I opted to stay behind because I really didn't want to go (omfg, 2 weeks of peace and quiet? hell yes!). A friend was going to house sit with me (since during that year there were 3 home robberies and many car break-ins nearby).

Well, my uncle absolutely loves whiskey/scotch stuff. At the time he had about $15,000 worth of alcohol sitting on top of the entertainment center. No one in the family is an alcoholic and I despise the taste of alcohol, especially whiskey/scotch. Anyway, either the first or second night, my friend and I called him up to ask if we could drink some to party. He let us finish a bottle of Johnnie Walker Green (cheap stuff) and open up and try his Johnnie Walker Swing (also cheap-ish. This is compared to him having like two bottles of Blue [expensive!!] and stuff around $500-$1400 a bottle). Anyway, we got pretty *squee!*faced, blasted some music, ordered some pizza and pretty much rocked out hard.

It was awesome because it's one of the few times I've gotten completely hammered without an excruciating hangover. We practically had a concert going in the house. That was a great day, but that was like 2 years ago.

Hmm, best day ever? I've had a few over the years. My first trip to Disneyland, for example. I was about 8, I think. The day I discovered Godzilla. Don't know how old I was then, maybe 6 or 7. First time I went to San Francisco. I was around 10, and kind of scared, but thrilled at the same time. I had only seen it on television, so seeing it in real life was kind of strange - it made me think everything on television was real, including Godzilla. Moving out, of course. Getting my first job. Getting married. The honeymoon.

. . . What? We went to Disneyland!

My Best day was probably when I got into course i'm currently in. It was either that or go back into the depressive state that made me a heavy drinker as a Full Time worker. It was close too, I almost got a horrible door to door salesperson job. If I got it I would have no longer qualified for a student allowance.

OK, ultimate answer. I was going chronological, so it'd take me forever to get to this.

Yeah that was a great day for me too. But I can't help but wish I was a brony earlier.

Maybe then I would have been able to not let the ponies distract me from my school work so much.

I may have also beaten Zephyr to reputation of Fluttershy love.

    I BLAME Y'ALL

Somepony should have whacked me in the head for ignoring this meme for so long.

Well I'm not much of a conformist, I may not have given the show a chance if it wasn't for it happening by my own free will.

Hmm, day I became a brony of course... I only learnt of the meme around a month and a half ago! XD
And it took me a few days to get to watching the first episode.. and then I watched them all in one sitting. :derpe:
Also, regaining all my siblings but my youngest brother from my mom. And getting to live with my dad in the first place...
Also, seeing my grandparents, which happened around 3 years ago...
I avoided posting in this thread at first, but seeing I'm in a happier mood now, some good times for me. ^^

Nice one! I was thinking this too! XD

I suppose besides the day I became a brony, it's been a long time since I've had so-called Best Days Ever.

I guess it'd be any of the times I went on week-long vacations with my family. It was usually my brother, his wife, their kids, myself, as well as some of his wife's family members. There are three trips in particular I enjoyed. Each took place during different summers, but each was a week spent at a place called Raystown Lake, Pennsylvania, the Poconos in Pennsylvania and one of my personal favorites, the outer banks of North Carolina.

Mainly what we did at each location was we'd not only hang around with family, but we'd also go to amusement parks, nature walks, safaris, beaches, swimming, and other things. At night we'd always set up a campfire (except in NC because there was no way to make a fire pit) and we'd have some drinks (alcoholic beverages), make s'mores and just have a good time.

One memorable experience was in the Poconos. We were made aware of the black bear population there, and one morning, there was a black bear cub outside the house eating out of the trash. It was the first time I ever saw a bear in the wild. I even was able to get a photograph of it. Another experience was in North Carolina, when we were able to see wild horses walking on the beach. We almost got stuck on the beach, because we didn't have a big truck or anything like that (you were allowed to drive on the beach). Oh yeah, another thing was my brother and I did something pretty stupid back at the beach house, haha. We were both suffering from allergies, so we decided to buy some Benadryl (diphenhydramine), and we took that, but we forgot that you're not supposed to consume alcohol with it. So, we were drinking some mixed drinks while under the influence of the diphenhydramine, oh and we were in a hot tub too, which was another dumb move.

Nothing happened, thank goodness, but let's just say we were really acting wacky! LOL! In retrospect I know it was dumb, but I still think it's hilarious to this day.

In Raystown, I actually had a bad experience. I got sun poisoning because I forgot to reapply sunblock and I got a really wicked sunburn. It made me really sick for two days. I felt nauseous, had a fever and the chills. I pretty much slept all day and was in extreme pain.

Overall though, it was fun hanging with family, and in some cases I got to see some good storms while there too, lol. Remember, I love storms anywhere, even if I'm on vacation. Actually, especially if I'm on vacation.

Too bad these days we can't go on trips like this, mostly due to financial issues between all of us.

Lol I know this is not that appropriate for this thread, but one of my worst days ever was when the 'Best Day Ever' episode came to an end and I realised there were no more episodes of pony.

It was a long, long time ago but in 5th grade what basically my best of time i really had in my life. We would play with are Bey Blades (Remember those, anyone) and Yu-Gi-Oh cards

and Watch movies and Get Honors the most in my life (up to my senior year) and we would play Calm relaxing music, if it was raining then we would have a free day, along with it. Ha

ve food in classes on holidays. Ahhhh, Man would i not give to relive my 5th grade year. Then the down fall happens in 6th grade but that's another story. :3

P.S I would bring my Tape record (Retro) and We would making Stupid stuff by making funny voices and i would record videos like N64 music and Cartoons like Spongebob or Ed edd

and eddy and we would have a blast. I miss the 90's. Today, the voices are still in the tapes and when i listen to it is like the only thing i can hear from the past of my childhood and

i'm am like " is that what i sounded like back then and acted?" It's sorta weird to hear old past voices but brings back the good times.
