The problem with you bronys is nearly all of you don't admit that you love MLP. And you know why people don't admit stuff? You got it. They're embarrassed. Though you may love your ponies very much; the reason you don't admit is, is deep down you know it is not acceptable in society.
Uhm... everypony already KNOWS I like MLP. My family, friends, neighbours, that random hobo on the street...
I'm most likely one of the few bronies that doesn't admit it because the majority of my colleagues, friends, family, local society, and the rest are extremely homophobic and judgemental. They'd take one look at my bronyness and label me a homosexual due to their idiotic nature. I mean, they use the word "gay" to describe inanimate objects, and that's ignorant enough. "Plankings gay" etc. But from what I've seen around bronies is that a lot of them admit it. I admit it everywhere where I'm invisible from my local society, where most people either think they are too smart to go on the Internet for noneducational reasons, only play videogames on consoles where you kill enemy soldiers, are in athletics, are just plain dumb, or just overly judgemental and homophobic. Honestly there's no issue with it in my opinion, but in the opinions of locals it's "gay". I tried as subtly as possible to admit it to my friend, and he started being a jerk about it so I stopped. I told everyone else I'm researching how the show became famous on the Internet for a memetics project, and that I'd be posing as a fan IRL to examine its effects on others' viewpoints of me (Which is also true.). Basically my friends think this is all an experiment for sociology and a project for memetics, when in actuality it's pure fandom.
