I passed up on making one of these threads for a long time, and I rarely participated in them before beyond lurking and reading through some of the interesting responses, but no more! I got to thinking that I've been on this forum long enough where I should participate more in some of these. I thought that now there are so many new members who have stuck around that I don't interact with as much, and this might be a good opportunity for them to get to know about me. Older members can feel free to ask anything as well, and maybe we can all get to know each other better. I promise to answer any and every question, just keep EP's rules in mind. Without any further ado... Ask away!~
I'm only on the first question and this is already hard! I'm pretty sure I'd go with Samurai Champloo when it comes to popular anime, but Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei is also a contender. That said, some other anime I've liked are Cowboy Beebop, Baccano, Neon Genesis: Evangelion, Death Note, Durarara!, The Devil is a Part-Timer and Ouran High School Host Club. Naruto and Bleach are sort of like my guilty pleasures.
I like all genres and have a couple favorite artists within those genres, so I guess I'll just list them all. Power Metal: Blind Guardian, Hammerfall, Sabaton, Avantasia, Wizards and Demons, Falconer, Dio Classic Rock: The Beatles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Billy Joel, Eric Clapton, Todd Rundgren, Jimi Hendrix Pop: Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Scissor Sisters Punk/Alternative: Eisley, Gorillaz, Green Day, CAKE, Fountains of Wayne R&B: Barry White, Marvin Gaye, Parliament, K.C. and the Sunshine Band, The Bee Gees, Kool and the Gang, Earth Wind & Fire But my all time favorite band is... Death Cab For Cutie. I listen to them all the time.
Awesome! I'm a fan of 80's glam metal mostly, however that doesn't mean I don't like a little bit of other genres too. Next question, are you a fan of Roleplaying games? Like Fallout, the elder scrolls, final fantasy etc.
Oh my goodness yes. I've played just a little Fallout and none of Final Fantasy, but I've experienced a few of the Elder Scrolls games, and I also enjoyed the Mass Effect and Dragon Age series (I have yet to play the new one, but that's what Christmas is for).
Depends on the kind of sandwich. I'm a vegetarian, so we might have different tastes. I often make for myself a simple sandwich on wheat with provolone cheese, tomatoes and mustard. However, I've really been craving Jimmy Johns recently, and I can tell you that my favorite sub is their #6 Vegetarian with lettuce, tomatoes, mayonnaise and guacamole between gratuitous slices of provolone all stacked in simple Italian bread.
Would you rather wear a shirt made of peanut butter all day or have to take a shower of tomato paste?
I guess I'd go with the tomato paste shower? Wearing peanut butter for a whole day sounds pretty sticky.
I enjoy lots of types of video games, including first person shooters, but I think I invest the most time and energy in role-playing games where I get to create a character and experience an adventure.
Tough question. I might choose a superpower relating to mind-reading, where I could maybe manipulate the thoughts of other people to create illusions or understanding between two people, or be able to tell if someone was lying about something. In that case, I think I would use it to solve crimes that no one else could solve. So, I guess I would use it for good.
Too many to choose from. I love them so much, I think their whole discography is great. Generally, I might say the album "Transatlanticism" is my favorite. What about you? EDIT: I forgot to mention the songs "What Sarah Said", "You Are a Tourist", and "Grapevine Fires" as being some of my favorites that aren't on that same album. Oh, shoot. World peace, for somewhat obvious reasons. That cures to all diseases be widely known, so that we don't have to be bothered by things like cancer anymore. And 100 Billion dollars for me, so that I can create a place for my descendants and relatives to live, and also for me to live out the rest of my life without working for money. That way I could devote all my time to my artistic career.
