Both Silence and Eris awaken to find themselves in what appears to be a rundown metallic elevator cab. It appears to also be mostly bare, save two screens with two buttons under them on the right and left side of the cab. You find wtach-like device attached to your wrists, both reading "3 Pair" in red text. The screen on the right appears to be off but has two buttons under it, a blue one reading “Ally” and a red one reading “Betray”. The screen on the left appears to be on and reads: “Would like to play a game?” Under it, the blue button one reading “Yes” and a red one reading “No”. What will you do?
Silence looked at Eris, horrified. She cocked her head after she read the two texts, and kept a certain composure. She stood up, and offered a hoof to Eris.
Silence touched her throat, trying to speak. A tear rolled down her cheek, as she sobbed silently. From the corner of her eye, she spotted the screens again, reminding her to make a choice. Her eyes locked with the other pony, and she mouthed ''What's your name?''.
"Eris." she said, understanding. Her horn glowed, and a few shadows in the corner of the cab flew to her, and she played with them nervously. she wrote in the air with a trace of light, ''Silence White''. She then took a long look at Eris, and mouthed, ''Are you hurt?'', her pendant slightly glowing blue.
Silence thought for a second. She looked at the mare in front of her, then at the screens. She rubbed the ground with her hoof as she mouthed, ''I think i understand it all. It may sound crazy, but we have to make a choice. Either we stay together, and have a chance to escape, or one of us escapes as the other dies. And i think the second option would be easier for the one who successfully escapes. I don't know you, but... Please, let's stay together.'' She started to shake. ''I'm... I'm scared!'' She hugged Eris, sobbing loudly, without making a sound.
She slowly retired from the embrace. She mouthed, ''I'm sorry, but this place is so creepy!'' She reached for the ''ally'' button. ''Will you stay with me in this...?''
As Eris pressed the "ally" button, they both hear a loud "biz-it" it sound, almost as if they did something wrong. Suddenly, there was a small chime from what sounded like a PA system of some sort. "SUBJECTS 1209 & 1210, DIVERT YOUR ATTENTION TO THE OTHER SCREEN AND MAKE YOUR SELECTION. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN PENALIZATION." screamed a metallic female voice over the PA system. Suddenly, there was another chime and then a beeping sound from the other screen, the one reading "Would you like to play a game?"
Silence was startled by the voice, and almost falled on her left side. Aas she mistepped, she almost accidentaly pressed the ''No'' button. She looked at Eris, and mouthed, ''Let's press anything between those two: i'm pretty sure they'll do the same thing.''
Silence putted her hoof over the ''Yes'' button. She turned her head to Eris, and mouthed, ''Press it together?''
(Seeing as how this is going nowhere and past deadline, best to call it dead.) After minutes of nothing, both Eris and Silence feel a strong prick under the where their watch-like devices as needles hidden in inject some fluid into their wrists. Their eyes feel heavy as they slowly but surely lose consciousness. They don't feel the second prick few minutes after they pass out, injecting something into them. Their heart beats slowly slow, and slow, before finally stopping. Game Over.
