I've seen the two posts about "reputation" within the past two days, with people making threads asking "do I have a bad reputation on this forum?" My advice to anyone who has made a thread about this, or has ever wondered what his or her "reputation" is on the forum, is this: your reputation online doesn't matter. It doesn't matter because it's not real. Interactions online are never perfect. They don't represent you.
Whether or not people like you based on internet interaction doesn't have an impact on your life. People will like you or they won't, and striving for a "reputation" online is a waste of time and energy.
Making friends is of course a great part of joining a site like "everypony", but your friends probably won't care about your reputation, or even think about it.
Besides, whether or not people like you is their problem, not yours.
