Let me explain another problem in full detail that I have.

The staff. Yep. We're HERE again!


Some of the staff think that we're above the users when it comes to the actual site itself. This is not true. The very basis of a forum is in fact the users.

So moderators manipulate others into doing what they want when they want it. There are already quite a few cases of manipulation. Manipulation and lies that have deceived the users and the mods alike. The chain of lies and secrecy runs deep within the staff. Unfortunately I cannot shine light on this subject any further, lest I risk my job as a staff member in the first place. But know that at least one staff member does not mean you well. He intends to manipulate and lie, to use you and ensure his position.

Secrets and lies like this have further driven a wedge into this community. This wedge is what I like to call 'Ignorance'. By sheltering the users from the truth, and in turn, ourselves, we are allowing this hierarchy to live.

I have said it once. Twice. Thrice. And I shall say it a fourth time.


Continuated circumstances of witholding very important information such as this drives a wedge even further into the community. We claim to want to grow close to it, but we are undeniably pushing away from them by witholding vital information and keeping secrets from and lying to our community.


Tell the truth. Stop having secrets. Everyone deserves to know what will happen to them and what is going on with the staff.


We ain't all we're cracked up to be, fellas. I'll leave it at that.

    you remember that power crap I "whine" about. Is this not proof, I staff member himself says the staff does it.

    i'm glad you're informing us, the regular ponies, about the problems to the best of your ability.
    i got the feeling that, when you are able to point the finger on what is wrong with staff on site
    and point it out so every pony who actually cares can understand wiht the problem is, things will
    take a drastic change for the better.
    people just have to develop a better awareness for the matter imho.
    forgive me if what i am going to say doesn't make sense, probably because i'm quite new to the site and all,
    but the staff is in charge of the prosperity and well-bring of the site and its users. and i am sure that in their heart
    they are aware of that.

    long story short: if some sort of tension towards the staff builds, things are going to work themselfes out. they
    will feel the urge to do something, if they are not feeling it already, which would suprise me.
    because remember: staff are just normal ponies, just like you and me. they do not want to have this community fall
    apart either.

    continue what you are doing saikyo, you are doing an awesome job at it.
    things will be good. give it some time.

    Heh. The things Power can do to people...

    Naturally, then, I would not have heard of such things. They are, after all, a secret.

    All I'm going to say is that I don't regard the staff (except maybe Grey Knightmare) as any more important of a pony than me. I see them as the ones to whom the security and safety of the site is entrusted. That is all.

    As I said, so far I have not encountered problems with the staff.

    It's denial, no one wants to admit anything is wrong.
    It's not quite secrecy just denial and refusal to admit there is a serious problem.
    It needs to end though, the problem will continue until the problem is recognized for what it is!
