[Blogs Update] - Highlights & Featured Entries

Hey Everypony!
Grey here with a very quick, but hopefully highly informative blog post about blogs.
I've recently made a very small change to the system. Some of you may have noticed that we used to have a "Featured" link in the subnavbar that led to one or two blog posts in a special staff only-category. The plan was for blog moderators (and potentially other staff) to be able to move particularly interesting or important blog entries into this category so that people could then check out the very best the section has to offer at the time, without digging through several sections and categories looking for something of importance or interest.
This wasn't actually proving as practical as one would think, so I've changed the link and category to something called "highlights" - Which will function in very much the same way but the criteria for a post being added to it is a lot lower, if it's proving relatively interesting or a little important, it'll have a good chance of catching staff eye's and being moved there.
In addition to this we still have a "featured" entry, but this is specifically set and kept to a bare minimum amount of more noteable entries which will appear on the blogs front page, above the latest entries, much like a sticky thread does in the forums. This allocation will be reserved for exceptionally interesting blog posts or very important site news.
I think this will work a lot better, but do still please let me know your thoughts on this, changes can still be made.
Something else to note:
Don't forget to TAG and CATEGORIZE your blog posts! It doesn't break the system but it'll severely hinder your chances of people finding your blog, particularly in the future, through both our search and external searches (google etc). Also, see a post you like? Check the top right and make sure you rate it! It's only fair to share the good stuff with Everypony else!
That's it for now, I hope that wasn't too boring. If you've got any questions by the way, about anything site related, feel free to throw me or our new Trainee Tech Pony, mike406 a PM and we'll happily reply in earnest! We'll also take suggestions for blog entries if people want something covered in more detail.
Thank you all for continuing to use both the blogs system and the entirety of Everypony.com, happy browsing!
