Just wondering if anyone could give some critique on this. It'd be really appreciated. >.>
She cut her garden as it grew,
With steely blade and iron shoe.
She tore their faces into smiles,
And laid them all to rest.
Hook and leather, metal, bone,
A shallow breath, an anguished moan.
Sweet liberation all in time,
Her children fell asleep.
Games of irony, games of chance,
A twisted, devilish, dark romance.
They writhed until their lives were spent,
Their chests rose once then fell.
A careful eye, a loyal heart,
Some smiling lips, an honest tongue
Alone in glass; their mistress
Is left rolling in her tomb.
Thanks!
