I... I LIKE to think of myself as humble. I know that I may not know as best as the professionals.

But a girl has a seizure in a bathroom stall, falls, and dies. They don't know the cause of death?

My god, the retard across the street could tell you it was internal hemorrhaging!

Multiple problems here. One: our defibrillator is on the FIRST floor, locked up. Only the nurse has the key. Second, the nurse is an idiot. She doesn't bring ANYTHING to the girl, and takes her more than a minute to get on site. Third, instead of immediately calling the office to inform them of a situation, they waited until she had no pulse. Fourth, even then, the principal decided upon himself to walk. WALK. To the third floor and confirm the death before calling 911. What. The. Hell.

Jesus H. Christ, am I the only one in our school with any actual first-aid training? This sh*t should be required for f*cks sake.

The first sentence pertains to the following: I believe that if I was in charge of the situation, she would still be here today.

    Well she certainly would have stood a better chance than she did with anyone else there. The only possible reason i could actually think of doing what they did is publicity, and that's a pretty damn stupid and cruel way to get it. So yeah, though she might still have died, she at least would have stood a chance.

    Someone at your school died by a seizure? My god, how horrifying! I'd be more concerned about the fact that she's dead!

    No Jhera. If your body is so weak to die from JUST a seizure, then purging that out of the human race would be necessary, laughable, and we should sell tickets. I would bet that their bodies even let out confetti. Hell, we should test that stuff...
    I wonder who I sound like? Do I have a black box quick save feature as well?...

    I said internal hemorrhaging. Who knows, she might have even had an aneurysm. Or was that sarcasm?

    Caberea, there are some pretty sick people out there, like doctors that give out their own semen for artificial inseminations, and uhm... the nazi kind, but I don't think they let her die on purpose. I think they were just... REALLY. REALLY STUPID.

    And do you guys want to know what really angers me? The people who act as though they are totally feeling for the family. Bullcrap. You wore purple to school. You want to help, give the family a buck or two for the funeral.

    Wow.

    I have three parts to me.

    The Cynic, The Optimist, and the Logician.

    The Cynic is not surprised. People die from others' stupidity every day. Drunk drivers, crimes of passion and the like. This is just another example of why one should not have faith in the human race.

    The Optimist is glad that at least there are people like you who DO know how to save lives, and believes that not everyone can be expected to do what they're supposed to under pressure. Perhaps this is why they did what they did. He is horrified at the fact that anything like this would happen, though.

    The Logician agrees with you wholeheartedly.

    The worst part isn't that the girl died, it's the fact that this probably could have all been avoided.

    Also, the fact that the nurse wasn't even on site was a terrible thing. Either the nurse isn't doing her job properly or the school doesn't really care for the safety of its students.

    On another hand, I've done some thinking. I've calmed down and determined that the COD was internal hemorrhaging. So it would have been of no help and it couldn't have been avoided.
