How to Brony: Dealing with Haters and Trolls by Saberspark

Just yesterday, I was cruising Youtube for pony music. During my trip, I found a playlist that included this video. I watched it, expecting a humourous diddy on dealing with haters, and probably a bit of namecalling. What I got instead was an enlightening disertation that would rank right up there with any college-level essay.

Seeing as how there's been a lot of hate here recently, I think maybe it would be a good idea to watch this.

    Quite enjoyable. Thank you for sharing.

    I was a furry before I was a brony. For quite a number of years, really. With all of the bad stigmas on furries, I always found myself explaining the truths of the fandom.

    Hehe, I like to think I know how to deal with them. ^^

    TBH, I haven't run into many haters, other than my brother and his little group of friends who he's convinced that ponies is a terrible plague. Most people don't really care about it around where I live.

    And on the internet, I just ignore them. :p

    Still both. Perhaps it's why I feel rather comfortable here. But I've had to have the "No, this is what it actually is" conversation too. You really have to gauge the point at which you explain that one for different people, I find.

    Anyway, thanks for bringing that to our attention Quill. I am enlightened and armed. Almost makes me want to hit Youtube and try it out.

    That was a good find. Thank you for sharing, it was enjoyable to watch.
    Hoping that'll help other bronies with dealing with haters myself. Can't ever recall facing one myself since there's only one non-pony site I go to that can identify me as a brony and they tend to be pretty apathetic about it over there although none of us talk about ponies outside of its thread.

    Haters wouldn't need an argument for the amount of interest it's received if the show never evolved past the first few generations! I would've had a very hard time getting into THAT...

    No offense to those of you who enjoy G1 or G2.

    Not me...

    I only really like G4. All the others either look creepy, act annoying, or both.

    Though in G3's case, it's probably just because my sisters watched it...over...and over...and over...and over...again and again.

    I can still remember Rainbow Dash's old voice...
