I bring terrible, awful news...

That's probably already happened. ._.

I was watching about this on a couple of news stations. I saw that the number of deaths was anywhere from 26-30, with 18-20 of those being children. There was a lot of unconfirmed reports, and they interviewed some of the kids after the incident. It sounds like the shooter is dead, and police are searching the neighborhood in case there was a second shooter. One person is being interviewed, but they aren't calling them a suspect yet. The dead shooter's mother worked at the school as a kindergarten teacher, and I heard that his father had been found shot. An unconfirmed report says that the dead shooter was wearing body armor. Some of the eyewitness reports also stated that while the shooting was taking place, the intercom came on and all you could hear over it was shooting and screams.

This is a truly horrific incident, and is being called the worst school shooting in US history. I can't imagine what the families are going through, but they have my condolences.

Truly horrible incident. What goes through people's minds that makes them want to commit such horrible acts... No words can be used to describe how I feel right now. I extend my fullest condolences to all involved and to the children and staff who have passed away.

I wouldn't judge them to be honest. In fact I'd probably approve of it.

What he's getting at, Rarit, is politicians and pundits, rather than grieving, waste no time in callously turning these kinds of incidents to their political advantage, whether it's for more gun control or less.

I was watching this for awhile.. I don't understand why someone would do something so stupid. It's just low, who knows maybe politicians hired someone to do it. Just the thought of that idea makes sense and is also a probability. Our Government is just so screwed if anything, It could even be very true for all we know. =/ We need to convert the politicians and government into bronies & pegasisters. We'd finally have peace in this world.

Then the only people with guns are the bad guys. Either way, people are going to get guns, and people are going to shoot people.

Best have a gun yourself so you can defend yourself from the crazies.

My heart goes out to the families of the victims. My anger is... incalculable.

Wow. What the hay do this psycho have against kids? I'd suggest some things for the shooter, but they'd be rude.

Let's see: Aurora theatre shooting, the mall in Portland, and now this.....*sigh*....

This is horrible... I don't get people. What ever could drive somebody to do such a thing, to innocent people?

I'm quite ashamed that there are humans who do things like these. And the worst thing is that they were innocent kids who did nothing wrong.

I already heard about this.

I'm pretty sure he committed suicide, and he was already gonna do it, but he wanted to be remembered....yeah, it sucks. But, life you know?
