you were expecting this...and im going to load this up with headcanons! And note theis will be in groups. 1.self 2.around friends 3. when in a relationship. I maybe adhd/bipolar/and very other mental stuff but i can attempt to be organized!

  • ok i bet everypony is asking why the hay i picked abenaki as her home. Quite simple. Equestria is kind of like north America. and abenaki was a tribe that was between the two lines. Now think this lore wise during the war of the mare in the moon. Since abenaki was the only tribe that migrated from north and south they were mostly considered neutral in cases till times got more intense. that they had to pay for seeds they needed, let alone food. the bat ponies made a deal. They would give them money for their food in exchange for a piece of it any information. This would be fine till nightmares moons sealment for 1,000 years. then the taxes came. Eventually they were banished to a river bordering the two countries. and even celestia stopped her knights. she didn't wish to punish them anymore she let them leave in peace.
  • Her cutie mark is a lake with 3 spirits singing to it (i know that's not what is show per say but hear me out) Not only does her cutie mark say what she does but her name. Laughing lake is a lil poem i made up before about a lake that is laughed at for what is is. But the lake is feared for what it can do. and the only ones that it can rely on are the rivers, streams, and falls. For they care for the lake and give it life. Lake is still new to her power and gets impulsive power even not as a unicorn. Her powers come from spirits that sense her emotions and react upon them. She was gifted to be a shaman of sorts to guide others. in a way she hides the fact she doesn't know her own destiny even if she has a cutie mark. to her the mark is only the beginning.
  • She does have a unique fear of her self and her father. And when i mean that its when her emotions overflow and she accidently hurts somepony. she will freak and isolate herself to calm down.As for her fear of her father. Her father was very abusive verbally. All he wanted her to do was study study study spirit magic and control her emotions to the point shes hollow inside. She ran away because of him when he killed her mother. If she sees him she will be scared and angry.

  • Lake will try to make friends. she does get awkward at first(Because of said canon above) but she can be really friendly and offer advice

  • Lake is a shy pony around stallions she takes a liking to. depending on how they react to her she will show kindness or be tsundere.
  • (further headcanons like in the friends will be depended on if any stallion or mare takes a liking to her.)

    Equestria is a magical land filled with magical ponies. America isn't. Also America exists, unlike Equestria.

    ok true on your sword there however may i note that various towns and or cities in equestria sound familiar. and i know its supposed to be puns of the cities. to me it makes some sense that its based off of it.Ill even use pokemon for an example here. Its based off of japan and they even say some parts are based off of different cities like Manhattan or france.No yes you are right that it is a different world with pastel ponies and such however, to me i think its one in the same its like an old saying i know. 'In a mirror you see yourself but, are you sure thats its your true self?' Its kinda like Alternate realities or universes. we saw this in equestria girls. and it proved that canon strongly. And its like other fandoms like hetalia with 1p 2p personalities. sooo im thinking like luna can see a rift of doors(and maybe the rift of analysts) Theirs a hall of mirrors. like in pokemon XY for example in that episode the cave of wonders showed the crystals shaped like mirrors revealed a world just the same but everyone had different personalities.
