Metal Xaniith - A tale of inspiration, courage and love

So, for all of you regulars who were here when I joined here in May last year, you all would have remember I joined with my boyfriend...er sorry, now ex boyfriend Commander Tangent, well even then, when I first joined and was with...my ex, I met Xaniith, and he was (and still is) so nice, kind and sweet to me. I knew from then I had feelings for Xaniith, but i was still with my ex, and confused, not to mention I left the forum for quite a while. Well, after about a few months later, I left my ex for well...personal reasons and a close friend (who is now one of my partners) introduced me to open relationships. in any case, after nearly a year (or something like that) I have returned to this forum, and who else to be the first to welcome me back, but Xaniith. My old feelings for him had returned, as he was being his usual honest, sweet, kind and gentle self, making my feelings for him grow. As we talked throughout yesterday and last night, my feelings just continued to grow for him, but i was just so scared to tell him. But then, this morning, it came to me. I then talked with him and wrote this poem for him:

"When we first met, I thought you were the nicest guy ever
you welcomed me with open arms and an open heart
but then i left, only to return
with old feelings renewed anew"

Needless to say, he loved it and then I asked him if he would be my boyfriend, and he said yes.
So now Xaniith and i are happily together.

So, I just want to inspire and encourage all of you who are struggling to tell someone that you love, that you love them. Do not be scared or frightened. Go out there and tell them, whether it simply be by telling them or doing something like writing them a poem. You will never know whether or not they love you back, so do not let fear hold you back. Seize the day and get out there!
