Hey everypony. Your favorite Mexican brony here with more things to post.
First things first. Today's report. Listened to Also Sparch Zarathustra. Which sounds alot like something from a star wars flick. Before night fell, I went to the gym with my dad to exercise. We started slow being that I don't excercise that much. We were only there for an hour.

Now for what I would like to share with Everypony. Some history and current events that are happening in The United States of Mexico.
Just to let you all know, this will be from what I know. So some information posted here may be inaccurate but I will post on what I do know. Lets start:

Like many of my ignorant generation, I really don't know what mexican presidents preceded Viciente Fox. For many long years Mexico was governed by the PRI: Partido Revolucionario Institucional (Institutional Revolution Party). That change in the 2000 elections when one of its rivals, PAN, won the elections. Thus began one of the most significant changes in Mexico.
Now lets be honest. By stereotype, many believe that the moderen mexican of today is the same as in the past or by the way the media has potrayed us. Whatever you may think is, of course, false. Unless you've done your homework. Like mentioned, that image changed when PAN: Partido Accion Nacional (National Action Party) was elected to lead Mexico. Unlike PRI, PAN worked on changing everything. During those long 70 so years PRI electives governed in corruption and had no care for Mexico's future.
So from 2000 to 2006, Mexico began to grow in power but was this power really in the hands of the president? No, it wasn't.
Theres more than what other nations thought. Mexico was in-directly under the control of Narcos and their carteles. There is no denying that in the past, Mexico was corrupted beyond all recognition. The government knew this. PRI was actually in touch with the carteles. Nevertheless it was not bad during those times. The people of Mexico lived in peace with the carteles. The only violence that there ever was was the control over regions in Mexico. There are or better said, were alot of carteles. One of the most famous are the Sinaloa cartel, El cartel del Golfo, and Los Zetas. The former two are in alliance against the Zetas. Who are known to kidnap people to work for them. Here's a little idea on how ruthless this cartel is. Anyone that neglects in joining them are killed.
Past or disbanded carteles were Beltran-leyva, y La Familia The latter cartel was praised in helping the community and providing protection from opposing carteles.
Vicente Fox didn't do much about this ever-growing corruption. It could be said that he didn't want to deal with the carteles. Instead concentrated on working to provide Mexico with a better economy. Although he did send some troops to certain junctions, there was little to no difference.
Then came the 2006 elections. PAN won once again because the people saw how great Mexico improved over those 6 years. New president Felipe Calderon not only had plans for Mexico but for all the carteles in her.
And so began the drug war.

Phew, that was alot. I'll stop here because there is alot more to type during these 6 years of war. I will continue tomorrow so be around to read more. Si seƱor
