My idiocy knows no bounds! (Help?)

It's tough being an absolute moron when it comes to computers. The most I know is that the little buttons on the keyboard make letters show up on the monitor. :/

So now I come to you obviously smarter people with a pathetic question.

Ok, I love all the music our brony musicians create and I'd like to have it on my ipod....the sad thing is is that I have no idea how to get them on there. The musicians mostly put their music on Youtube or Bandcamp, that much I know, it's just the transfer from there to my ipod that has me hopelessly lost.

I'd appreciate any answers from you guys, I'm sure you know a heck of a lot more about this stuff.

In the mean time, I'll wonder about the infinite mysteries of the computer world.....no, not Tron.

    Download the tracks, in some form. I can't tell you how to do this via youtube, since it's technically illegal (go figure..). Bandcamp has download options, but you usually need to pay. Some youtube videos have a free link to the mp3 in the description. Once that's done, download and install iTunes (if you haven't already) select something on the lines of file-> Import tracks to library. Select your downloaded tracks, wait for iTunes to convert them. View your iTunes library tab, then plug your iPod in. Wait for it to appear in iTunes. Drag your songs from your library to the iPod (within iTunes).

    Grey beat me to it. Although most brony musicians allow you to download their music for free, so you don't usually have to worry about paying.
