New Laptop Hopes

Hello folks of Everypony blogs. I don't do this often so forgive any mistakes. I thought this a good a place as any.

First of all, for those who didn't know, my good laptop done conked out. It's GPU broke and it can't be replaced or repaired, so I have to buy one new while I use this craptop in the meantime. I've set up a paypal to pay money into to pay for it over time and I've had some awesome friends donate some money to help me out (which is very very appreciated) so I'm hopefully going to get this new laptop within the next two months. Here's hoping!

This is the laptop I'm planning on getting. It's better than the one I had before and I'm having my better half set everything up. If things go to plan... well I'm going to have so many plans, and I'll be blogging about them all.

    That looks really expensive for a really poor computer, but I can't tell if the processor and graphics cards are good enough to make it worth it.

    I was wondering if I should my paypal thing in the blog post in case someone did but I thought against it as it borders the edge of the rules too much for me. Plus I just don't really like asking for money.

    As far as Laptops go, those specs are really good.
    You pay through the nose for laptops with even half-decent GPUs.

    As/When/If you get it, please let me know how it is! I'm looking to get a new laptop in that performance range too :)

    Ahaha, See, I'm trying to compare to my desktop that I built for ~$600. Can't really compare the components of a desktop and a laptop, it seems. x3

    Oh yes, definitely. When I get a desktop then I know it'd be a lot better for cheaper, but for now I need something that gives the mobility of a laptop right now.
