Name: tattered scroll
Gender: female
Age: 35
Race: unicorn
Appearance: average height brown eyes pale blue coat long curly pale orange hair
Cutie mark: two crossing scrolls with a banner in front
Personality: she is VERY smart, but after years of studying she lost just about all sense of social behavior and has been driven near insanity commonly making seemingly contradictory statements and moving in very unconventional ways; although her moral compass is basically in the right direction. Although she does not have any sense of social behavior, that by no means stops her from trying to be social (and failing miserably)
Random info: she is a very outright pony and generally doesn't care for the reactions of others. She will commonly not understand expressions and will take them literally.
Bio: She was born in winter in a hospital in canterlot. Her parents were very kind and a bit more social than a majority of ponies. scroll was a very well behaved child, never broke the rules but had few friends she saw on a regular basis. tattered scroll knew from a young age that she wanted to learn as much as possible. This desire for knowledge was what fueled her to become the best student she could. She ended up graduating high school three years ahead of her class and quickly moving on to higher education at the most prestigious college in the country (which she got into on full scholarship). After college, scroll decided to advance her education further. At age 25 she began her work as a philosopher and scholar. She has accumulated enough books that she has begun donating her collection to the canterlot library. She never left her house. Not even to buy new books. She had hired ponies to purchase food and books for her. This continued for another ten years. She lost her muscle mass but was not starved. She finally had to come out due to the tragic news of her fathers death. She then discovered how badly her social skills had deteriorated. She has vowed to do whatever she can to become social. In her pursuit of knowledge her brain got a bit mixed up causing her to be fully functional and able to apply her vast database of information but nearly unable to put together a normally constructed and non-contradictory sentence.
