No hope for the human race.

I recently had my bike stolen from my front porch.
I was, of course, furious.
Today, however, I found out that I'm one of many victims of a theft ring that's operating in my town.
Among the items stolen were a custom adult trike belonging to an elderly disabled veteran, and the wheelchair of a child with cerebral palsy.
The best part is, the cops don't seem to give a damn.
Property crimes are "low priority."

I have pretty much lost all hope for humanity.

    The fact that you posted this shows that you do believe in some humanity, otherwise you wouldn't have bothered to do so. We do have humanity, and we care.
    OT:
    That really sucks. I'm really sorry. My house got robbed last year, and there was a rumor that it was our next door neighbor, (who was later found to be selling drugs) did it, but the cops didn't do a thing.

    I have also been a victim of bike theft. It's not a pleasant experience at all. I'm sorry the police aren't appearing to be too cooperative but I'm sure they'll keep an eye out when they can. Otherwise?

    What on earth is a crime ring doing stealing human powered wheeled objects? That's some really weird stuff. I would think that would be enough reason to at least put a detective on the case. I guess not though. Oh well. As I always say: "Humans are terrible. I'm just hanging here till we find something better."

    **** like that happens every day of every hour. My opinion on humans? Theirs good ones and bad ones. then again what do people mean in faith in the human race? Faith in their morality? faith in their technological advances? Don't let actions of the few reflect humanity dingus.

    Wow. That's one way to lower my faith in humanity a bit more. Oops, I mean the inherit kindness between members of the same species we are supposed to have. But you're right. I won't let your pointless insult against someone for no reason reflect on the entirety of our species.

    If I ever did find out who stole my things, I would drag their low-life butts out into the street and give them a piece of my mind.
