NY Comic Con '13: Part 4 - Sights and Sounds

Hey guys, how ya doin? This is going to be the last(ish) installment of my comic con series. The last one will probably be the merch I bought myself, which isn't directly related...

Anyway, this one is gonna be about the weird Art prints we saw, as well as some other cool stuff like giant robots, freaky deaky custom toys and one very creepy inflatable bunny.


Oh ya, since I didn't mention it before, I suppose I'll mention it now. I got to sit in two panels at the con, one was for Aniplex and the other for Yen Press. Aniplex makes pretty much all the best animes ever (Madoka Magika, Sword Art Online, Gurren Lagann, etc) and Yen Press is a publishing company that publishes and distributes manga (Highschool DxD, Watamote, Black Butler, etc) and we also caught the first North American screening of Neon Genesis Evangelion 3.0 in English dub. There were a few other panels I wanted to catch but we didn't have time for or missed (Archer, Adventure Time, Funimation, Viz Media, etc) but it was an amazing time anyway. If anyone lives in the Northeast area and likes MLP, anime, Dr. Who, the Walking Dead, any comic ever, video games or any kind of 'geek' fandom stuff, you should definitely go next year. That weekend at the time is probably the best weekend I've ever had in my life. Honestly my expectations for this were kinda low, but I was totally blown away by pretty much everything...it was awesome.

Oh ya...and I got my picture taken with a Playboy bunny, which was fun. ^.^ Well, the best part was chatting with her while they were getting the equipment ready cuz she was really cool, the picture itself turned out terrible lol, so you guys don't get to see it.

They were building this outside the first day we got there, I guess it's a sand castle replica of a Legend of Zelda castle. This was when it was only like half way done.
