Opinions on buying books? Digitally and IRL?

Do any of you EVER just browse through a book store with some spare dollar bills, looking for a good title or good back of a book summary and buy one at whim and give it a shot, turns out you LOVE it and can't put it down? What about digitally, do any of you shop for books online? I want to write a book and publish it online charging 3.99 a copy and eventually 7.99 USD a copy and was wondering if any of you ever shop for books online or off? Not because i wish for you to be my target audience, but because i would like a generalized opinion on purchasing books. :) thanks!

    Unless, of course, you'd rather not read a book that's 30% porn and over 700 pages long.

    I buy most of my books via my kindle. They're a lot cheaper that way.
    I generally hang around the fantasy/science-fictions the most. And fantasy theory? *drools*

    To this point, I've gone to Barnes and Noble knowing what I was looking for, but letting my eyes wander a little as well.

    Also, Wheel of Time.

    I haven't bought any books recent;y, I mostly get em for my birthday. I do read a good few thrillers though. Such as Left behind" and "Edge of apocalypse"

    I buy books but as you mentioned in your paragraph, I first look at the blurb, read a few pages and buy it. Those are the first two things I do before noticing it's just darn boring.
