Part 17: LOSTSANITY'S REVENGE AGAINST LARXENE

Before I get into the title I'll talk about the other stuff first obviously.

I finished up Olympus Coliseum. Apparently Auron is being controlled by... a statue? Okay... looks like Hercules will try to stall while we get it. So Sora & co. do that.

YAY. BLATANT FINAL FANTASY X REFERENCES. :smile2:

After that we have to head back to return the statue to Auron. Like the idiots they are, Pain & Panic allow us to "watch Hercules lose." The statue is returned, it shatters, and Auron returns to his normal, awesome self.

Meg is thrown into the Abyss by Hades and Hercules goes after her as we fight him. We can't damage him because its "his Underworld"

Hercules comes back!! He's back to his normal self. He helps us take on Hades again and this time there are ways to damage him. The fight isn't too difficult and he is eventually beaten.

Are Sora & co. true heroes now? Well... the stars in Olympus Coliseum showed their image... is that a yes? :dunno:

I also get a Keyblade from Auron.

Next up is Port Royal again. Looks like the curse has returned, thanks to, GEE I WONDER, Organization 13.

Apparently Will tried to investigate it so we have to go rescue him. That occurs and he confirms Org. 13's presence. This eventually leads to Luxord making his appearance and leaving the Grim Reaper for us to fight. Unbelievably easy. However... apparently he knows pirate code and invokes Parley. I THOUGHT PIRATES DIDN'T HAVE ANY RULES? :pff:

He throws some medallions away and the Grim Reaper turns invincible. Wonderful. We're also thrown to the Ship Graveyard where Jack has become a skeleton again. Eventually we're rescued by Will and Elizabeth and we have to run around getting the medallions from Gambler Nobodies.

So that's accomplished and Luxord and the Grim Reaper are confronted. Lengthy and annoying fight but victory is achieved and Luxord runs away like the jerk coward he is.

Jack (Sparrow) tries to wield the keyblade to no luck and the world is finished.

I have Magnara so I do more Atlantica. HOW THE HELL IS URSULA BACK?! o_O

Either way, Ariel gets tricked by Ursula AGAIN and tries to get that Prince she loves to kiss him. But Ursula took her voice so she becomes a de-facto Siren and puts Eric under a spell. Sora has enough and stops this. ABOUT TIME.

This eventually leads to Triton taking Ariel's place on the contract and Ursula getting the Trident AGAIN and the Ursula's Revenge musical. Which is completed and Ursula is defeated once more. I get a Keyblade for my troubles.

I need Thundaga for the final musical so I move on to...

Absent Silhouette Larxene.

This leads to the title for this.

I BEAT ABSENT SILHOUETTE LARXENE ON MY FIRST TRY. I HAVE CLAIMED MY REVENGE FOR CHAIN OF MEMORIES.
:twi:

You all want to know how I did it on my first try right? Well... I didn't exactly have a specific strategy. Here's the two reasons why I probably beat her on my first try:

1. I was pretty over-leveled. The recommended level was 32. Sora & co were in the 44-45 range.

2. I had decent Thunder-elemental equipment that I had synthesized and equipped to Sora & co.

That was... pretty much it. The fight is annoying but whatever I did obviously worked.

Lexaeus is next but I don't think I'll be beating him on my first try. I want more levels even though I'm 5 levels above the recommended level for Absent Silhouette Lexaeus (40 is the recommended level and I'm 45)

I'm going to complete Agrabah first so I can grind summons and Drive Forms again. So I start doing that.

THAT IDIOTIC MERCHANT RELEASED JAFAR. WHAT AN IDIOT. :sigh:

Next time:

Ursula tried to get her revenge. Now Jafar tries to get his. Also... Summon & Drive Form grinding again.
