Part 2: Field Trips & Falling Out

More school. I'm still somewhat expecting Persona stuff to occur but it never does.
A field trip into a dungeon apparently. An Espurr acts as "support."
Do I even need to say it anymore? Was Nintendo inspired by Persona or something?
Either way Squire with Fenne and Goomy. Goomy struggles to keep up. I'M SURE THIS ISN'T FORESHADOWING OR ANYTHING.
We make it to the flags first but instead of searching for Goomy, who is now missing, we decided to grab the flag and go back instead.
Not surprisingly, we get reprimanded by all for it. Goomy is found though.
Fenne asks if they're annoying. I said no, but for some reason, this still seemed to lead to what looked like a 'falling out' between Squire and Fenne as they stop walking with us to school. Alone again...
Well... it might be better if there wasn't a Social Link. It would have broken if this was Persona.
The next dungeon we're introduced to emerets and looplets that apparently only work in dungeon that increase varying things. Something new huh? This was actually somewhat interesting and, if done strategically, will clearly help in future boss fights. One in particular called 'Barrage' that may have a move hit twice. I'm going to go ahead and assume these things will be my saving grace in the later game.
Squire ended up with Deerling and Espurr this time. Not too difficult and we were first again because Fenne and Pancham couldn't get along. Totally not surprising.
Afterwards Deerling and Goomy notice us walking home alone so they walk with us. MORE SOCIAL LINKS?! Not really. They tell us what they think about Fenne which seems to be the general opinion of them being 'okay' but has a tendency to do reckless things and get others dragged into it. We realize that Fenne doesn't seem to get along that well with everyone else. Yikes...
That was pretty much it. Except for this mysterious, clearly evil, voice boasting about feelings of discontent or something. I don't recall any legendaries feeding off negative emotions but I guess we'll probably find out who that was eventually.
Next time:
Combination attacks are introduced and yet another Pokemon goes missing which may or may not lead to the reuniting of Fenne and Squire.
I still think this is another "The Answer"
