*sighs*

With RAW and SmackDown one day after the next and other TV shows coming back, it's pretty much caused me to not have as much time to play this game as I would like. Which is actually quite unfortunate because I really do like this game...

Either way...

I get the coffee beans for Kyoko, but before I return them, I find Yuuko again. Cue the awkward staring and saying nothing again. SMOOTH. REAL SMOOTH.

Apparently... she was watering at the mouth over... some kind of gourmet battle? Okay... o_O

Anyway... when I return the coffee beans we find Yuuko waiting for us. Looks like she's our client once again. What does want this time? :dunno:

Now she wants us to investigate her father. Who apparently died of a suicide. Though Yuuko doesn't think so. Our previous investigation was apparently a 'test' to see if she could trust us and we passed with flying colors. Yay? Quite the ruse though. She claims she can't trust a lot of people. Honestly... I think it's understandable. The more I hear about Kamishiro... the more I start to think they may be the real enemies with Zaxon being minor next to them. :sigh:

So we agree to do so. We question the guy from Yuuko's previous investigation but he doesn't seem to remember much and gets a dizzy spell but tells us to try talking to his daughter instead. Which we do. She informs us that her father used to work for a place called the 'Nile Corporation' which, is then discovered, to be the company behind the avatars in EDEN. Apparently, they were supposedly obtained illicitly by Kamishiro. They get more and more suspicious by the Chapter...

We learn that Kyoko's father and Matayoshi previously investigated the Nile Corporation but were forced to stop due to pressure from up top and had no choice but to hand all files over to Kamishiro, which practically confirmed the applied sense of 'we did it but you can't do anything to us.' Corruption much?

So... we need to get the files back. But how? Kyoko tells us to see Mirei to get something from her, which turns out to be an ability that will hide us and our account information. Effectively, making us invisible. How... convenient. Mirei brags that it could be used for a variety of crimes but believes in us to not use it for such things due to our connection to Digimon and teases us to discover who she truly is. Right... o_O

Anyway... we end up 'obtaining' help from Yuuko to get us into Kamishiro Enterprises. She actually agrees because she wants to see if her suspicions are correct. She's able to get us into the main lobby but that's all. Should be good enough I suppose. We go there and Yuuko... is acting weird. Not like herself. She's putting on too much of an act. We try to tell her that she doesn't have to do that because we're already friends but she takes it as part of the act. :DFH:

We have to find a way into the 'Avalon server' to get the information we need. We use our new invisibility ability and discover an avatar we can Connect Jump into. That's... new... either way we do so. As we make our way through the maze... Kyoko checks in with Yuuko. Things are pretty tense but Kyoko believes in us. Good to know?

However... things take a turn for the worst. Of course. Kyoko discovers that Yuuko's digivice has a a well-done wiretap on it that is being used to monitor her conversations. Uh oh... they've been listening in this whole time huh? Great. Just great.

Kyoko suggests to Yuuko to get out of there. She's worried about us but Kyoko seems to think we'll find a way to handle things ourselves. Well... yeah I suppose we'll be okay. I have Digimon after all. Mostly Champions... so... there's really not much anyone could do to stop me from just waltzing right out.

Yuuko makes her escape. Things are tense... how will this turn out? We'll see...

Next time:

Kamishiro Enterprises infiltration fallout. What exactly is this company up to? Are they possibly even the ones pulling Zaxon's strings? So many questions... so little answers... :dunno:
