So.
It’s been a while since I’ve been here. I assure you, it’s nothing serious. Just busy with work and other things. I still pop in every day, so there’s that. To those who are playing/participating in “From the Edge of the Universe”, I got most of your replies saying that you want to keep going. Great! As an update, the only two who need converted yet are Sparkler and Twinkle, and Twinkle can’t be converted until Sparkler is.
*looks up*
*sheepish smirk* Oh, right. Back on topic.
Lately, I’ve been participating (and I use the term loosely) in a forum-based Persona RP. For those who are unfamiliar with the Persona series, it’s a bout a group of teens who summon demons as allies to fight off Shadows. More can be found here. As I can’t get my hands on a copy of the Persona games, I’ve been playing Shin Megami Tensei II and Shin Megami Tensei Imagine (which is kind of the same, but not. Same series, different continuity).
During the course of my research, something occurred to me: A Persona can be pretty much any deity-like being, as long as people believe in it. Such is the case of Mothman, who is a cryptid a la Bigfoot that makes its home in Virginia.
Therefore, I propose that the following can legitimately be one’s Persona:
The Flying Spaghetti Monster
Cthulhu (Cthulhu is already established in MegaTen canon.)
Yog-Sothoth
Bigfoot
Sheogorath
Q
As well as:
Princess Celestia (I actually brought this up in the Persona RP discussion. A few actually agreed with me!)
Princess Luna
Nightmare Moon
Discord
Chrysalis
Ursa Major
In the Persona RP, my character’s Persona is Cerberus (the three-headed version, not the MegaTen version). I almost posted this picture as his appearance:
But then I settled on a more fearsome one. :derpe:
I decided that if I could use MLP characters as Personas, I’d like to have Nightmare Moon.
Who would yours be?![]()
