Rant of whenever the hoof I feel like it

See? Look! A new name! Mainly because I can't keep this up on a weekly basis anymore. But this time, it's about the crappy web design program at school.

Yeah! So excited! A web design class! Something actually awesome and useful! Not.

First, I was thinking "Yay! I get to use Dreamweaver!", but no. For some reason or another, we were forbidden to use the adobe programs on our computers. We used Yola.com. I shrugged it off, thinking I had at least decent design options and could opt in for Flash.

BUT NO! Yola is the only web hosting site that isn't blocked. Because Celestia forbid we make websites. So when I went to Yola, I saw the page and was already disappointed. Little customization choice, and no opt for Flash unless you paid for it.

And the teacher was moronic. She was asking how to make a website for chrome. ASKING. HOW TO FOR CHROME. ON CHROME.

FLARGABLARGLE. All teachers teaching computer class should have a proficiency test. Not a "Ooh, you can open a program, yer good" test. -.-

/endrant. Again, sorry I can't keep up. I just don't have enough rants for all the week. Stay hot, guys.

    It's very disappointing when you get somepony who is meant to be teaching you, but they don't have a clue, at least you get specific classes for things for my school isn't at all specific, I mean they don't have a subject choice for drama(most schools in my area have that choice), if we wanted to learn something specific we'd have to pay for a tutor or a certain school/team for that subject, it's a shame really.

    You could see if a college your interested in would have a class like that. I know when I was doing a web design class in my school, we had to type out the code completely in either Notepad or Word, plug it in to the program I forgot the name of, and hope that it turned out ok. Once I took a web design class in college though, we were taught the ins and outs of Dreamweaver, and it was so much nicer to use.

    I can see how having a teacher who doesn't know what they're doing would be annoying. Sounds like an annoying class.

    That sounds like the time when I was chosen to be our computer teacher's aide because she needed help getting her sound to work. She's on babbling about how the school doesn't pay for good sound drives (which admittedly, they do not) when I get down there. I look at her computer and unplug the headphones from the microphone jack and plug them into the headphone jack.

    I swear I just wanted to throw it on the ground and say, "Screw it! I give up. Life's not worth it."

    But then I remembered Pringles.

    Yeah, I know that feel! We have a CAT teacher, that is ok, she teaches cat...reasonably well, but everyone complains about her, because the moment there is a hardware problem, or something outside her field, she is clueless.

    I can understand though. Because she is actually an art teacher! >.<
