Shedding some Light

Let's delve deeper into some problems. This one is more community based than Staff related, so if you aren't willing to read it, go ahead. But there are some staff bits in it.


I have noticed a lot recently that community complaints are being blatantly ignored in favor of the general ruling of the Everypony Staff. You guys complain. We almost never check it out unless it's something stupid that causes a huge problem. And we can't deny this either.


We are blinded by opinionated facts and do not have an open eye to almost any problem, sans myself and... two other staff members.


Now to the community bit.

I feel that the community does not complain enough. Yes, you heard me right, no sarcasm. Not enough people point out a problem when they see one.

Echoax, an esteemed member of the community, saw the flaws in the site and the staff members, and what did we do to help him?


We said he should just stop whining. We said to ignore him. We said to let him roast on his own.


It is only after many deep reflections of these actions that I have finally decided to stop being an arrogant, selfish idiot and to start being a staff member that this site deserves and needs. Instead of relying on my own selfish agendas, I will no longer ignore any problem that comes to my face.


This is the start of a new era for me. And I want to see it through.
