Sick as a dog

Not sure who came up with that metaphor, are dogs usually sick? Mine never are...


Anyways, forgive the rambling and please forgive any typos, I'm on a lot of medication right now.

I probably won't be on for awhile, I hurt my back really bad in the gym today (not really sure how) so it hurts....like really, really bad. I can barely get out of bed, much less sit at my computer. The only reason I can stand to write this right now is the tremendous amount of painkillers I've taken, and even now it's still really sore. I've hurt myse;lf quite a few times in the gym before, but it's never been this bad. Honestly I'm worried about how serious it may be.

To add injury to injury, I'm also regular sick, I think it's the flu or something. Not sure if it's regular sick or some kind of flu-like symptoms brought on by the injury, but nevertheless I'm sick.


So to get to the point, I might not be on much in the coming days or maybe weeks. Honestly if it is something serious, like I messed up my spine or something....I'm not sure I could go on living like that. But chances are good it's just s pulled muscle or something. I dunno, but my current state has got me thinking about it.

But yeah, dont mind the morbid talk, I'm kinda feverish so im prolly not thinking straight. Anyway, i'll jus have to see what happens, and i'll let you guys know how it goes.

    Man, that was painful to read...ramblings of a feverish mind. You know, when I read in books about people being "feverish" and "delusional" I did not really think that was a legit thing. Like being on the wrong end of a really bad trip.


    So yeah.... anyway after the pain went down and I could pinpoint exactly where the pain was coming from, I figured out that I pulled either one or both ligaments in my lower back muscles, the two that run on either side of your spine. The flu-like symptoms were clearly brought on by the injury...but I'm not sure how that's possible. Then again, never really had an injury that bad before.

    But, it's better now, just really sore. Been sitting around all weekend propped up on pillows binging on The Walking Dead lol, so I'll be out of the gym for awhile but luckily for you guys, it's not bad enough to keep me away from the internetz.
