...and I've got to say, that was one of the best books I've ever read.
The level of detail was extraordinary.
Not only did the book tell an amazing story, it managed to set that story in a fully-realized and fascinating universe.

Honestly, the only fair comparison that I can make would be to The Lord of the Rings, and that's not a comparison I make lightly.

If you're a fan of the science fiction genre, I highly recommend reading this book.

    I'm almost finished with the Green Mile and I should really get something else in my queue. What's it about, exactly? Science fiction LOTR?

    It's about a power struggle in the distant future over control of a planet that is incredibly dangerous and incalculably valuable.
    It touches on subjects such as ecology vs. profit and destiny vs. choice.
