something isnt right in the fandom

the title says it all.
whats happening to us? before i became a brony i had two brony friends. they were the closest friends i had ever seen. they never fought, had arguements, even disputes. they loved and tolerated even the worst guff. when i became a brony i made so many friends both in person and online. now what i dont understand is why are we suddenly becoming more hostile towards eachother.
example: the ClockMaker. what happened there? he was a good guy and suddenly he was being shot down for something. we are all friends here. why cant we just get along. if this keeps up its going to end up like the BronyDanceParty fiasco.
we are bronies. friends to one another. im starting to feel like we are starting to tear eachother apart.

    Unfortunately, people are people. There are some aspects that we will like and dislike about them. Some people think that bronies are a master race of humans who love and tolerate. However, we are no different from the rest.

    Red, make sure that others don't bring you down and stay positive.

    I think the fandom is what you make of it.

    Lots of people are being selfish or prideful, and that is what is wrong.

    It's a simple problem to understand. Not so simple to fix.

    This I have to agree with.

    There are some cynical people around here who wish to drag down the spirits of others regardless of their reasons to do so. However, you do have friends who you trust right? It only natural to turn to them for support when you do get upset or sad. Heck, even the Community Patrol are willing to listen to your troubles and give some support or advice so there's really no need to let a few downers, trolls and hotheads to ruin the whole brony experience for you. If you have any questions here, please don't hesitate to ask, I will listen.
