Studio Yami: Winter Wrap-Up

MAN it's been too long! Thanks to the new karaoke night, though, I finally got off my ass and recorded a new cover of an old song for the first time since September of last year. Sorry for all the inactivity. I've been having quite some trouble with enthusiasm. Turns out I just needed a push and the rest came naturally. I was worried I'd be rusty after not having recorded anything for a long while, but it came out quite well. I guess that's not too surprising, since even though I haven't recorded, I still sing to myself on a daily basis. I love singing and that's never going to change! :twi: So without further ado, here's Winter Wrap-Up!

    What kind of mic you have? Actually, what is your whole setup if I may ask?:grin:

    It's been so long since I threw the box away that I forget what kind of mic it is. The mic doesn't have a company name on it for whatever silly reason. I got it at Guitar Center for about $100 and it's made for recording vocals (though my room isn't particularly good for acoustics xD). And that's it, really. I record with that mic using Audacity with headphones plugged into the microphone's headphone jack (for silence in my room, obviously).

    Edit: I derped. It does say "M-Audio". It's called the M-Audio Producer USB microphone, and it came with the Avid Vocal Studio.

    Nice one, man! Whenever I hear a Winter Wrap-Up cover, the first thing I always wonder is how the artist did the different voices. I really liked this one.
