The end of the era of innocence.

Not exactly sure if there ever was one, but it seems to me that growing up things have gotten a lot less sensitive. I could've sworn that it was some sort of unsaid taboo to talk about sex so vividly in public when i was younger. Now we've got songs about it all of the radio, ones that don't even try to make it sound poetic or beautiful, and these ones get blared out day after day.

Now i sure as heck know that I never heard anyone talking like that when i was in the elementary school. The teachers might have sworn a couple of times when they thought we weren't around, but they certainly didn't talk like that, nor did any of the other kids there. This was a kid in year 3, and it's not unusual for me to hear kids in the elementray school talking like that now.

Now it might be just me, but this has been bothering me quite a bit. How crude humour seems to have become, and everyday morals seem to have degraded to the point of: As long as it makes you feel good, its fine. Now of course, there are still laws and such, the people here aren't stupid enough to disobey those for now (Wait a second...). Actually, I just lied, there's been a fair amount of that, there have been numerous instances where I've caught other students (this time actually in my year or higher thank goodness) smuggling beer and drugs (Which they have been selling, so i really doubt they're medicinal) into the school. There's been plenty of grafitti all over the place (Though I'm not so sure if that's strictly against the laws, moreso just school rules), and I've had myself been blackmailed a couple of times. (Ironically enough I'm a surprisingly good theif so I've been able to steal back the stuff without them noticing).

Just to make this perfectly clear, this is a PRIVATE high school, and honestly I'm very worried about our generations future. (I haven't reported or told anyone about these incidents until now, wouldn't want people getting expelled. So I've been really needing to get this stuff off my shoulders. Just because i didn't tell anyone dosen't mean I haven't done anything about it mind you. Those people I've caught are well aware that i know what they were doing, for their sakes I've disposed of the evidence, though i don't think they quite expected it to end up buried underneath a ton of garbade.)
