Yes, but that's a sort of roundabout way of thinking. Technically, freezing most liquids brings the molecules closer together, so freezing them compresses them by itself. However, water expands when it freezes due to the fact that it crystallizes in an open hexagonal pattern which takes up more space than the pattern of liquid water molecules. So, when water freezes normally, its molecules get closer together, yet they take up more space. So water frozen via compression at room temperature would not have the same molecular shape as normal frozen water.

but liquid has no definite shape^...

I use to wonder about this so much. Well, not if it would turn to ice or not, but the whole idea of compressing water.

..... and that is relevant how? All liquids take the shape of their container.

If you were referring to my comment on the shape of the water molecule, well, all molecules have shape regardless of which state of matter they are in.
