Todays Feelings.

Today, I feel depressed and feel like crap.
The people I am supposed to be leading for a school club (as I am the president) treat me like an idiot.

To them, all my ideas are stupid and not worthy of any respect.
I even get told rude things for liking the color pink and wearing skirts, and I am a girl.. "Ew why would ANYONE like the color pink. Youre stupid for thinking that" "I don't wear skirts because I am not retarded"

What is up with these people? There is nothing wrong with differences.

And they are the reason I have to hide that I watch MLP. They make fun of other kids at my school for watching it and make fun of the show itsself, though they have never watched it before.

I just want some respect. I give them respect, so why don't I get any?

I'm starting to think that it's because I havent been showing livestock for my entire life, and that now that I do I raise them kindly and they see that as weakness..

    In life, you will always come across people like such, I mean I'm Scottish, the people in my year have EXTREME issues when it comes to discrimination, anyone that is even the slightest different from them, they point out or embarrass and they won't ever drop it. They are just too far up their own rump to care about the feelings and opinions of others, the idea is to either avoid them or try to get across to them without losing your temper, losing your temper will just make them find it a massive joke, and they will insult worse, trust me, I did have to put up with it for a long period of my life, but over time they will learn to stop such things anyway, also I'm 15 and I've had like, 1/2 years peace from such people. I hope this may have been helpful!

    I know somewhat how you feel, Applestar. For a long time in school I was picked on and pushed around because I was the "Blind kid". it was so awful! You shouldn't let it be an excuse to change who you are as a person or from doing what you feel is right. You are special just the way you are and you should be proud of it, and what you stand for.

    Hang in there. All of your friends from Everypony respect and care for you. Most people are dicks, you just need to surround yourself with those who aren't.
