Topic of The Week 5 Marvel vs. DC Are Both Superhero Brands Equally Great Or Is One Better Than The Other? by dbzponyninja a.k.a. E.C. Written on ‎February ‎04, ‎2013

Monday has once again rolled/come upon us therefore I once again bring you the Topic of The Week so without further ado let's get started.

However before I begin I apoligize to BryguyShinigami on my Everypony.com Friends List as I didn't pick the Topic of The Week that he voted and also because he was the only one who voted on this week's Topic of The Week last week I promise that next week i'll talk about Is The Hub Channel Becoming The New Cartoon Network? Anyway let's get started.

Marvel and DC both are Superhero/ comic book brands that have made/ produced many cartoon shows, movies, video games and comic books but are very great and I like both of them equally but is one brand better than the other let's find out together?

Just like last week when I compared the Brony fandom with the Petter Fandom I will doing the same thing for Marvel and DC this week so let's get started.

Superhero Brand Comparisons Part One Marvel:

Marvel has some of the most famous and iconic superheroes such as Spider-man, Hulk, Iron Man, Wolverine and Daredevil to name a few Marvel is also the most popular superhero brand as there are alot more Marvel superheroes than DC superheroes but we can't completly discount or ignore DC all together after all we are about to talk about the DC superhero brand right now.

Superhero Brand Comparisons Part Two DC:

DC while that brand doesn't have nearly as many superheroes and villains as the Marvel brand DC also has some famous and iconic superhero like Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, The Flash and Martian Manhunter and while DC doesn't have as many superhero/ comic book characters as Marvel superhero/ comic book fans also like DC.

Closing Statements:

So is one brand better than the other honestly I don't know i'll let you decide. So as I say when i'm on the phone with either of my parents whether it's my mom or dad "bye bye now."
Since I promised to talk about Is The Hub Channel Slowly Becoming The New Cartoon Network next week there will be no voting on next week's Topic of The Week.

    Personallly, I think both have really awesome superheroes, both have equally good reasons saying that one could beat the other.

    A common argument for dc being better is them having Superman, but that's pretty easily refuted seeing as The marvel characters can just use Kryptonite.

    So yeah, I'm on the fence about that. I'm not saying either is better, but if I remember correctly, I think Marvel did come first. Could be wrong on that though.

    I go with Marvel. I like some DC superheroes, but I find the Marvel ones more interesting. On the subject of Superman, I kinda have to agree with my friend based on what he said about him: Superman's supposed to be one of the most powerful superheroes to ever exist, with superpowers out the butt and invincibility under most circumstances, and yet he's been defeated by almost every supervillain and superhero out there. That kinda contradicts his whole concept. I get he has weaknesses and it's fine that he loses every now and then, but he loses to everyone. According to my friend, in one series, he got his butt handed to him by Ra's al Ghul, and right after that Batman kicked Ra's al Ghul's butt like it was nothing. :dunno:

    I like some of the heroes from DC. But Marvel?

    Two words. Thanos Reigns.
