Valentines Day is not happy for me...

Well there are a number of things to dislike. The holiday existing in general, everyone being lovey dovey, and the fact that you are forced to give a care as a kid. The worst part is if your single on this day, it's the most grueling day of your life and one you'd rather not pay attention to. This day is honestly one of the reasons that I like to be secluded and alone, and why I'm fairly introverted. I like to keep to myself this day and if I must go out to do something, I tend to block out people in the world around me. I know it's kinda bad to do that... but I'm uncertain that I want a relationship really. There too much bastardization in the world to really want love from anyone. No one should be subjected to shameless flirts either, the ones that can break your heart in a instant. It's not fair to say everyone is like that, but I don't really trust this world. I tend to be cynical to protect my pride and my heart. Maybe one day someone can prove to me otherwise... though I dought it.

    I agree with.... well, pretty much everything in this. there's a reason pretty much all of my friends are on this forum instead of IRL. hope things improve for you

    *snuggles back* same here. there's hardly anyone I know anyone IRL that I can actually talk to, though. and I'm single, so Valentines day is rather unpleasant for me too x3

    I pretty much stayed inside all day and then had other crap to deal with, so I didn't really think about the day itself that much, but I do share most of your sentiments. I sort of think the run-up to Valentine's is worse than the actual day though; all the shops and adverts being full of reminders of relationships others have and you don't... yeah. Not the best of super fun times :p

    I didn't even know it was valentines day till around 8 pm yesterday

    This would have been a great day for me two years ago when I was dating but know it's just a reminder of what I lost....I'm glad I didn't know what day it was untill it was pretty much over, it would have ruined my happiness for getting the hardest achievement in fallout 4(benevolent leader is the achievement if you want to look it up)

    @Braveshield: lol I've got Fallout 4 on rent to see if it's any good. It's quite fun actually. It's what has been keeping me entertianed the past few days outside my Online and Offline friends. Sadly I'm returning it today.
