What if I told you that we can be free whenever we wish?

Well, I think I've already covered the part about dream=reality with my own thoughts...
For the rest, I've read a bit on, not much.

Aside from the material, it's rather hard to read in the way it was presented. I guess I'll just have to go over it when not distracted...

I lost a lot of sleep before writing this. >.> So it doesn't surprise me if it causes brain hurt to read. Hahha...

I remember my dreams quite vividly, actually. In fact, I remember exactly what I've dreamed almost this entire week. I've actually been working at becoming more proficient in lucid dreaming so that the dreamworld isn't as such to me as it used to be, but as time progresses it becomes essentially a second reality.
It's kind of ironic in a sense that it used to be one of my dreams to control my dreams, and now I use it as a way to extend my reality.

As for chasing the more figurative dreams in the waking world, in a sense, I've never really had all too many limitations in my life. Whereas I'm not restricted by inhibitors found in every day life that keep me from reaching my goals, they tend to drastically swap before their completion and are left in an incomplete state. In a sense that is actually a restriction, but in a sense, not really. To me, if I complete something I have no desire in doing, it's a hollow accomplishment; not something that's all too fulfilling. Maybe it's the hunt of these little dreams of mine that make me out to be who I am? I tend to be a very laid back guy and while I don't let much interfere with me, I still find myself chasing little flickers of interest and wonder so I can find out if these little "what ifs" of everyday life are truly a desire of mine or a fleeting fantasy.

There's this one dream I had that I remember so vividly it felt real; like a memory. I don't quite remember if I was lucid dreaming or if I'd fallen asleep. I was walking alone a beach, the ocean to my left and rocks leading up to dense jungle on my right. The centre of the beach was sectioned off by a line of bushes made out of feathers and snakes, and rock carvings; all alined in an AB pattern. Near the rocks leading to the forest, the sand dropped down about an inch as if it's been cleanly shaven away. There was a minty green strip through this sand, fading down the length of the beach. At the end of the beach was a small cave with just enough room for one person to crawl inside. It was littered with dark cyan crystals.

I find that out of all places, this beach is the easiest for me to go back to when lucid dreaming. I just close my eyes and after a while, I'm there. I take whoever I want with me, do whatever I want, and think whatever I want. Having quite a rough night last night, my dreams were plagued with images of the beach. I dreamed I was sleeping with my back against a stone carving with my notebook in my hands, and everything was just perfect. I've started to accept visits to my beach as being a memory.

I'm kind of jealous, haha.
While you've had this rather tranquil dream, I've only been able to recall rather hectic dreams that have no method to the madness.
I think just last night I had a dream where I found myself in an amusement park, but I was forced to sneak through without being caught or be punished with death.
Not so much amusing as much as it was terrifying.

That actually sounds really nice. I don't think I've ever been alone in a dream before; there's always a problem that needs to be solved. I'd like to be able to relax within a dream in utter serenity. You're lucky to have a constant world; however there is something attractive about the collective mash of...stuff that makes up my dreamscape.

Heh. The world my body is stuck in is anything but tranquil, so my subconscious collected any thread of tranquility I can find and sew them together in a tapestry to create somewhere I can escape to. It's brought me a certain numbness. Sometimes my dreams have 'challenges', but the particular dream I keep coming back to has no challenges to overcome. Last night whilst I was writing, I got into this strange trance... It freaked me out, but I gave into it. I was writing the whole time I lucid dreamed until a car doing burnouts snapped me out of it. I'm yet to read the entry I made last night; and I'm not sure why it even intimidates me a little bit. Heh, I guess my dreaming did provide a challenge. Regardless, I did end up falling asleep and had the image of sleeping someplace else in my mind the whole time.

Hmm... Might go read that entry in a little while... :/

If you feel comfortable sharing, I'd love to read it. For all we know you might predict the future....or garbled nonsense. Still the inner machinations of ones mind are an enigma.

I'll send it sometime when I write more of it up. I'll just quote pieces here and there, because the bulk of it's pretty repetitive.

Rather late aren't I?On the subject of personal dreams...

Though I don't dream often, when I do, I'm always alone in a barren wasteland. I've only had one dream where I wasn't. It was many, MANY years ago. I remember it vividly... It was snowing. I had a backpack on. Hiking up a mountain. I had friends there, but I never got a chance to see their faces, and their voices were all as though they were coming from inside my head. Eventually, my vision just faded out, as though I had went blind. After I had woke up, I thought it was snow blindness. After I had went blind (in the dream) I had felt a sharp pain in my back, and more of the voices were shouting at me. Then when I regained my vision, I was in the wasteland mentioned before. Sometimes in the dreams, I had walked away from the sun. It always ended with me collapsing in exhaustion though, blacking out.

Surreal, isn't it? I think maybe I was walking east. But after studying up on dreams a little, the sun and all the other light sources don't really work right.

Just a bit. Hahha! But don't worry about it.

That sounds beautifully dangerous, really... Quite surreal, I'd agree. Maybe you were on another planet? I recall from my beach dream that I was not on Earth, and that things worked a little differently on the new planet. I was the only one there yet I was able to go back to Earth- I'd arrived there via commercial space travel, so I assume the dream was set in the future.
