What if I told you that we can be free whenever we wish?

What is a dream, and what is a memory? Where do the boundaries meet and how do we define each? What if we wake into a dream everyday where all we love is set into combat with all we fear? What if sleep is our natural state, and each night we slip into reality?

Why not blur the lines between dream and reality? Why is a dream not allowed to be a memory? Those who believe they are our masters can drag us to our knees and assault our bodies, but they do not know that there are two kinds of submission: Physical and mental. Whilst the demons attack our bodies, we do not have to let them infiltrate our minds. Our minds can be elsewhere regardless of where our bodies are.

The electricity between two people can jump time and space. When you allow your dreams to be your realities, you do not have to wait for anyone or anything. You can eliminate all that you fear and all that hunts your body. You can be anything. You can be you. Although we must wait for the touch of a person to calm our bodies, the voice of a person in our realities can calm our mind.

So why can a dream not be a memory? Why have any borders between the two? They cannot take away from you what you feel inside, for it is locked within your mind and only you have the key. I believe even though there is no higher power to 'guide' us, no afterlife and no souls, evolution has given us something which is beyond priceless- Our mind. The mind is where we theorise about gods and afterlives, and the mind is classified as our essence; the most essential part of ourselves. Even if we become a quadriplegic, our minds are still racing- It takes more to damage the mind than the body. As long as we have our minds, we have won.

Even if our bodies cry, our minds lay on a beach; the sun aglow, waves lapping at our feet and sand between our toes. We can be free whenever we wish.
