    It looked to me that they explained what happened when they were showing the pictures of Peewee on the walls of the treehouse. They seemed to depict that he was returned to his parents.

    Well I guess that was the only part of the episode I missed because throughout the rest of the episode I was wondering where the little phoenix was.

    Yeah, it would have been a little immoral to keep PeeWee. It's probably for the best that he isn't going to be a recurring character.
