Thats true even though you called me a zombie but not all zombies are the same. I only have it crammed in my hands not my face.

You also called yourself a zombie because look what you just did another blog post. Im sure your not on 24/7, but neither is anyone else.

Some peopme are on devices to contact people that moved, or like me, they talk to complete strangers from different parts of the world because they like the same stuff, and to see how it is for other people.

And just because people cram a devise wherever doesnt mean that they dont read real books, or talk face to face.

And from your fellow zombie here, first of all i have an issue with talking to people because its hard for me, i still try though. Second i do have hobbies that include biking, hiking, and going with freinds(that i barelymade, yet am happy to have) for pizza, movis, and just wandering around town because we can.

In conclusion i hope that you do want to understand that some people are on there phones a lot, but that doesnt mean that its the only thing they do.

Well in my experience with most people around my town they have no time for you. If you talk to them or say anything most will not give you the time of day. So I cram my face into my phone to avoid the awkward experience of people judging me. I love conversation just not many people want to conversate as if it is taboo to talk in public. Who the hell decides what is taboo anyway.

I can't blame those reasons. I'm more or less talking about those who could give less of a care for the life around them, like the texting drivers. It makes me sick there are people happy with texting while driving. One of my friends would of got hit today if he didn't see the driver texting while driving. The driver was nearly going 100 mph.

Or the fact that some don't even put any effort into trying to do something other than being on their electronics. It's those kinda people I'm talking about. The type of zombies that eat the crap from corporations that shovel it into their lives practically. That really have no mind of their own at all.

Is it illegal to text/call while driving? It is here, and it's been so much better since then. Lots of accidents were caused by that. I suppose it will be a thing again when self-driving cars become everywhere in the very near future.

Socialize with other people around me? I'd prefer not to. I'm a socially anxious wreck, and those I have around me like at uni are generally not too nice, which is why I prefer to talk to my friends online. Playing with electronics of any kind has been a hobby of mine since I was very young so I'm often surrounded by devices for various reasons. I also have my work to do at my computer, so I'm always at my desk at home or at university.

@ Xaniith: Just because it's illegal to text while driving, doesn't mean people will stop doing it. There are still plenty of jackasses that still text while driving. Statisitcs mean nothing as long as it still happens.

I feel like my last point was entirely ignored. You DON'T have to talk to other people. Merely taking a walk in a isolated place like the forest or walking through town the morning when hardly anyone is out. I'm not saying that you have to be social. I'm just saying that those that can be social but choose to shove their face in an electronic are those that could stand a break and talk to other people.

I'm sorry if it came off like I was dumping on electronics as a whole, I'm not.

Statistics DO mean something as long as it is statistical significant. That is, The likelihood that a result is caused by something other than mere random chance. If there was a significant decrease in crashes after the law was passed then it can mean something.
I agree that they shouldn't do it at all, and enforcing it will still have people doing it. As with any other law, but it doesn't make it mean people won't stop doing it.

Well it maybe me but I just personally despise using statistics partly because it is over used in debates and it ends up losing it's point anyway, because there are still going to be arguments about how that person is still wrong. This is why I HATE debating.

@saberscratch88: Honestly, using me using a blog I barely use as an example of me being a zombie... I'm sorry. I see it as a poor excuse. I still spend plenty of the day doing other stuff. I try to make an effort to do other things besides being on my electronics, for as few as I have, all the time. Sure I have my lazy days where I'm on the computer, but I don't make it a daily habit, or at least try not to. Hell, I barely touch Facebook as it is.

It's easy to judge people when you see them in public. But you have no idea how social someone you don't know is in their daily life; I've known people who are glued to their phones because they love talking to their friends 24-7, or because they check the news and social media all the time.

Also, I don't think it's cool to judge people for not being social. Some people are meant to be around other people and interact with them, but other people are just different. They might want to be left all alone, and we should respect that.

That's fair enough. I just have my instincts about these things though. *sigh* I'm not purposely trying to judge those that are anti-social verses social. I was saying in a general sense about people who literally dedicate their whole life to their devices. I'm not trying to point fingers or saying that anyone I talk to here follows this stereotype. I know when people start talk about stuff like this, the finger will be pointed whether intentional or not. I'm trying to avoid it.

But my point was suppose to be that it bothers me that there are people out there like that in which do shove a screen into their face. If people don't do that here, that's fine. I'm not trying to purposely insult anyone here.
