Well today my dad suddenly screamed at me about my not doing anything, but I don't quite see what I'm supposed to do. My mother washes the dishes and does laundry, my employment is entirely up to her getting me applications and driving me to whatever job I choose to do. I'm 16 and not in drivers ed, so even If I drove 30 hours in the next week it'll still be two years until I can drive on my own. I have no interest in sports. Not even mowing the lawn would be a daily thing. And he doesn't realize that I'm being productive by trying to learn JavaScript. I just needed to vent.
Dear everypony. I am not very good at writing reviews but I really feel like I need to do this. I had to watch gravity in my biology class because we had a substitute who made an executive decision that intead of watching GATTACA we were gonna watch gravity... This... Was possibly the worst executive decision a substitute teacher could have made. First off, it made everyone angry.we had watched the first half of GATTACA and not the second. Secondly, the sound system in the biology room sucked so through a large portion of the movie (the parts where it plays the heartbeat) it had horrid distortion that made it sound like a snare drum with shards of glass on it. Thirdly. This was just an awful movie... I couldn't get interested. There are only three characters throughout the whole movie, one of which is not even alive after the first 10 minutes. Then she gets thrown out into space for like 15 minutes, which was extremely annoying due to the sound system and the fact that nothing happened for an entire 15 minutes. Then the guy "Matt" saves her and takes her to the spaceship again, once again very little happened there that was actually relevant. It took them 20 minutes to get from their shuttle to the international space station, where Matt gets thrown out into space and left to die. She got into a damaged escape pod and just sat in it for more than half an hour, doing pretty much nothing, then she ended up traveling to a Chinese space station in it (which took a good half hour) and took their escape pod back to earth. I honestly don't think that good 3D effects would have saved this movie.. A movie needs more than two characters. Period. And if you aren't gonna have ore than two then the two who are there can't get along well... You also need to have more action and less just blank periods of time... I mean even Winnie the Pooh was better than gravity. I would not pay for it.
I prefer to celebrate New Years at the proper time... 6:00 in the morning. Then I just skip the extra day on leap year. Sure, it throws me off by 6 hours each year, but every 4 years I'm back on track. Then it starts over. Well that's my two cents worth on the subject.
After the events of my last thread I have discovered that drawing really helps me calm down... Granted theyre pretty depressing but... http://imgur.com/Zre1vBJ http://imgur.com/GrTFY70
Name: tattered scroll Gender: female Age: 35 Race: unicorn Appearance: average height brown eyes pale blue coat long curly pale orange hair Cutie mark: two crossing scrolls with a banner in front Personality: she is VERY smart, but after years of studying she lost just about all sense of social behavior and has been driven near insanity commonly making seemingly contradictory statements and moving in very unconventional ways; although her moral compass is basically in the right direction. Although she does not have any sense of social behavior, that by no means stops her from trying to be social (and failing miserably) Random info: she is a very outright pony and generally doesn't care for the reactions of others. She will commonly not understand expressions and will take them literally. Bio: She was born in winter in a hospital in canterlot. Her parents were very kind and a bit more social than a majority of ponies. scroll was a very well behaved child, never broke the rules but had few friends she saw on a regular basis. tattered scroll knew from a young age that she wanted to learn as much as possible. This desire for knowledge was what fueled her to become the best student she could. She ended up graduating high school three years ahead of her class and quickly moving on to higher education at the most prestigious college in the country (which she got into on full scholarship). After college, scroll decided to advance her education further. At age 25 she began her work as a philosopher and scholar. She has accumulated enough books that she has begun donating her collection to the canterlot library. She never left her house. Not even to buy new books. She had hired ponies to purchase food and books for her. This continued for another ten years. She lost her muscle mass but was not starved. She finally had to come out due to the tragic news of her fathers death. She then discovered how badly her social skills had deteriorated. She has vowed to do whatever she can to become social. In her pursuit of knowledge her brain got a bit mixed up causing her to be fully functional and able to apply her vast database of information but nearly unable to put together a normally constructed and non-contradictory sentence.
If Hugh Laurie became the doctor he would be doctor whouse... That's really the only reason I made this.
I was just playing the mlp game on my phone and I was moving around and I saw twilight doing Gangnam style XD that is all
I have been playing skyrim for a while now and honestly I'm never gonna finish it... But I find the dragon language very interesting and I am trying to learn how to speak it fluently :3 is anyone else doing this?
Equestria girls is going to air on the hub on September first so only a few more months for you guys who are waiting for a better quality version... Who have the hub in their package
If anyone can provide me with a tutorial to customize blind bag ponies and maybe a list of good materials I will love you forever :3
So as some of you may have seen I said I'd be slowing down my activity here and moving it to another site however I am going to wait until the other gets back together better
I have tried multiple searches to find an image of just human rainbow dash in her wondercolts gear... If you could find one and put a link in the comments I would really appreciate it...
Spoiler: Spoilers about equestria girls this was a great movie but I basically made this so that I could talk about the end specifically when sunset shimmer put the crown on... That was REALLY sudden... I mean jeez it's all happy and colorful and dancy then BOOM!!! Super evil anthro demon bent on destroying both worlds... I also loved the, I think it's the third song... The one where they put on the ears and tails I'm finding that on the Internet. I absolutely loved sunset shimmers human design... Well not really human but really human-like anthro. Also XD principle celestia. But anyways yeah really good.
I DID manage to see equestria girls today... And I must say... It... Was... Great... I absolutely loved this movie... The music was good and even though I went into it with good expectations, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this movie... It was great... I loved the character designs... Besides luna and rainbow dash... I wasn't in love with rarity either... I DO think that discord should have made An appearance even if it was just as like a science teacher (because all of my science teachers were more chaotic and random than any of the others) I did notice all of the small brony references... Like at the dance scootaloo was doing the chicken dance XD I laughed for a solid 2 minutes after seeing that... It was a bit odd to see dog spike talking... I have a tiny logic question though... Spike seemed to get used to his new body immediately but it took twilight like an entire day. How? But anyways... This was a good movie and it just might get me through the off season. The comedy was good the writing was practically identical to the show (even though it got a bit dark there toward the end) in short I'd recommend this movie to anyone.
I'm here to say being a brony in Indiana sucks... First of all there are like 20 of us and all 20 of us have to deal with lack of brony stuff... Maybe that's just me but still... I did a search throughout multiple websites and I found out that the closest showing of equestria girls is 181.6 miles away... If you are from Indiana... I need brony friends...
