  1. See? Look! A new name! Mainly because I can't keep this up on a weekly basis anymore. But this time, it's about the crappy web design program at school.

Yeah! So excited! A web design class! Something actually awesome and useful! Not.

First, I was thinking "Yay! I get to use Dreamweaver!", but no. For some reason or another, we were forbidden to use the adobe programs on our computers. We used Yola.com. I shrugged it off, thinking I had at least decent design options and could opt in for Flash.

BUT NO! Yola is the only web hosting site that isn't blocked. Because Celestia forbid we make websites. So when I went to Yola, I saw the page and was already disappointed. Little customization choice, and no opt for Flash unless you paid for it.

And the teacher was moronic. She was asking how to make a website for chrome. ASKING. HOW TO FOR CHROME. ON CHROME.

FLARGABLARGLE. All teachers teaching computer class should have a proficiency test. Not a "Ooh, you can open a program, yer good" test. -.-

/endrant. Again, sorry I can't keep up. I just don't have enough rants for all the week. Stay hot, guys.
  2. I've been here for about 14 weeks now. Amazing. I love every one of you.

But you know who I hate? Annoying bigots who bash everything they can't understand. Today is Ally Week at my school, and you wear a different color every day, adding up to the rainbow (So pretty!). And as a lot of us are happy, and so very fabulously gay, we're getting kids wearing the opposite color, or gray in protest. That much, I can understand. Go ahead, be opposite.

But when you cross the line into derogatory name-calling, and physical bullying. That's when I flip.

Come on, guys. We're not doing anything wrong, and you shouldn't be either. Grow up.

I apologize for the short rants these days. Looks like I've let loose all the things that tend to piss me off. But please stay tuned, I'll keep posting weekly. Stay hot, and stay tolerant.
  3. Hello again, guys. I apologize for the really late rant, as I've been busy dealing with the holidays, and issues at home.

But enough of my b*tching, let's get on this.

Trolling on the holidays. Is there a limit? Yes. Should you actually know the person before you pull such a stunt? Yes.

My friend was feeling kinda down this year, because she was giving so much, but not seeing any gratitude. Of course, she doesn't give to receive, but a thank you is usually in order, yes? Well, people were greedy, no matter how much she tried to give to everyone she knew. She loves her friends like they're her family. But this one person she was in a Secret Santa with pulled a really mean stunt.

She has stage 1 breast cancer, and can't get pregnant. And what she got from this rude person? A baby carrier and an ugly wig. When she posted thank you for the thought, the person laughed and made fun.

What the hell is wrong with people these days? The poor girl's been crying for hours now, and I'm enraged. Guys, please don't be a ****. Please? Okay good. Stay hot.
  4. I'm late again! Sorry guys, I'm still pretty sick. But hey, I'm here once more and I've got a rant revved up for you all.

    This school shooting that happened on Friday, and how everyone's reacting to it. Mostly wrong. Let's start with the school systems;

After years of carrying around a briefcase because I don't have a locker, I now have to give that up to carry literally everything by hand. After the school not caring enough to make sure all of the students have a locker (No, I'm not the only one), they now decide that all backpacks must stay in lockers. And apparently, a briefcase is suddenly a backpack. I understand the concern here, but come on. I'm not complying to a rule that has me breaking my arms and losing everything I own from dropping them in the hallways. Although I agree with the locking down of the school (locking the front and side doors), the backpack thing is ridiculous.

And now with the gun control. JUST BECAUSE THERE'S A LAW AGAINST GUNS ISN'T GOING TO STOP KILLING. It'll just inspire more creative and brutal murders. It's a pointless issue. I can understand the whole out in plain sight gun laws, but don't get rid of them entirely. Because what're you gonna do with the **** ton of guns we already have? Hide them in a vault? Yes, let's see that happen.

Last but not least, the media blowing this whole thing in our faces. Yes, I do feel bad. Kids died. That sucks. But the media is making a whole raid over it, starring THE SHOOTER. A lot of us don't know the names of the kids who died, but we all know the name of the man with the gun. Same with the Batman theater guy. Same with a lot of these situations. Honestly, if I died in a mass shooting, I wouldn't want my name plastered on the news. But I wouldn't want the ass-hat who killed me getting his/her name up, either! That's just wrong.

*deep exhale* Thanks for listening guys. Stay hot, and don't shoot up the school.
  5. I apologize for the late rant this week, I've been very sick lately. But I'm here now! So let's get started.

Sex Ed. Yeah, it may be called "Life Development", but I'm cutting the crap right now. It's sex ed. The only reason it's called anything else, is because the school doesn't wanna get sued by a bunch of closed-minded parents who get butthurt over the fact that sex happens. That drives me crazy in and of itself, but it gets worse.

The content. I remember back when they could promote contraception. But now, since it's "religiously unsound", we have to say never have sex. We have to tell a bunch of horny teenagers to not have sex. And never tell them about condoms. Ever. That doesn't sit well with me. I mean, yes, I agree, you shouldn't have sex until yer ready. But hey, we all have urges. They're natural and okay, but if you want to satisfy them, BE SAFE WITH IT.

And the teachers they're putting up for this? They're either too old and conservative to actually be informative, or don't know anything themselves because they're too young! I see kids walking around, being all "Oooh, I have the most sex!" I ask them what a condom is, and some don't know what to reply. Half answer it wrong. I see this, and I cringe. I fear the future, and for the youth of the next generation. Because honestly, it may come too soon.

Guys, if you have a sex ed teacher that fits the bill like this, please. YELL AT THEM. TEACH THEM WHAT'S WHAT. TEACH THE WHOLE CLASS. Stay hot, guys. And stay safe.
  6. Wow, I've made it to ten. This is gonna be a big one, folks. Hold onto yer hooves!

People not doing their jobs. What's wrong with that? It's a bad economy, they're lucky they can get a job. Why not do it right, properly, and happily? Yeah, it can suck, but you know what? SUCK IT UP. You're lucky.

Just yesterday, I saw the woman who got a job instead of me. She was lazing around, being RUDE to customers, and overcharging them at that. It made me furious, so I yelled at her. I need a second job to pay for rent, and food. I lost the job to THIS GIRL!? I see it especially with the younger kids getting jobs. I appreciate that some don't know what to do, and they get flustered. But it's not acceptable to just be lazy with it. They probably don't even have bills to pay, like I do, and like most adults who don't have jobs do.

Please, in the comments, if you'll do me this favor. I'd appreciate it if you tell me if you had similar experiences. I see it way too much these days, and I wanna know if it's just me, or everyone. Appreciate your job, guys. Stay hot.
  7. Littering. Why?

Seriously, the trash can is two feet away. Would it kill you to throw that candy bar wrapper out?

I see this all over the school, and I pick up. Yes, it *IS* the janitor's job, but I like to help out. If they're a janitor, then they probably hate seeing situations like that as much as I do.

I live on the side of a highway, and I see so many people throw crud out their windows, and I'm on the side of that highway picking up. Not for community service, but for the sake of helping the world just that smidgen much.

Please, if you litter, stop it. It's annoying to more people than just the clean-up crew. Stay hot, guys.
  8. Subject this week: Technologically illiterate rude people.

There are three kinds of TI's; the ones who don't bother, the eager learners, and the flat out rude ones.

The ones who don't bother tend to stick to traditional ways of communication. Letters, going places, so on.

The eager learners tend to ask a lot of questions, but tend to be happy about it and learn quickly.

THEN THERE ARE THE RUDE ONES. They ask for help, they're loud and rude when you try to talk them through it so you have to go over wherever to fix it. And after you fix said problems, they tend to blame you for future problems, even though they have no idea what is going on throughout the whole thing.

For instance, let's say you have someone who clicks on every scam ad, and opens every email they have on Internet Explorer. You try to talk them through cleaning their computer, but they just yell at you. So then, you're forced to their house so you can clean out their computer, put their firewall up, install a new browser, and then physically clean the dust out of their ancient computer. You leave, to have your own life, eat food, so on. You get a call about 4 hours later. Said person is screaming into the phone, saying it's your fault that their computer is messed up worse than it was when you started. You go back over to find that not only have they somehow uninstalled their virus protection and taken down their firewall, but they have also infested their computer with over 300 different viruses.

If you are that person, STOP IT.

If you see someone like that, SLAP THEM.

Ugh. I've had to deal with that too many times this week alone. Stay hot, guys.
  9. Today, I'm going be kicking around a very touchy subject. So, don't get overly flankhurt when you read it.

Suicide is selfish and rude. In my short life I've had too many people die over things that can be treated and helped. So I've pretty much dedicated myself to making such things not happen.

It all started with my grandfather. I'm pretty sure he killed himself while he was telling a story to me when I was little. He stopped mid sentence. "One second, dear, I gotta take a drink. My mouth gets dusty 'cause I'm old." I giggled a little. But after he took the drink he slowly fell out of the world. I didn't know what was happening, so I told my mom that I thought he was napping.

Nope. It blew a large hole through the family, and we drifted apart little by little. But I still got to see my favorite cousin and uncle every now and again.

Then my second aunt Patty died. Yes, second aunt. But we were tight.

While my mother was in a coma, a couple weeks in, Patty thought it was a little too much for her, and blew her brains out. I didn't know until a few years later. And my mom woke up from the coma, don't wanna leave you hanging on that.

Then a friend of mine, Kimmy, killed herself after her boyfriend broke up with her. (Boyfriend of 4 months, I may add). Her parents soon followed, as it was painful having a child go before them. Her brother was put into foster care.

I'm sorry if I sound whiny right now, I'm just throwing out examples of what suicide can do to families and friends.

And the last one was the last blow; my favorite uncle. I called him Uncah, but his name was Lawrence. On December 1st of '09, he suffocated himself in his car, on my grandmother's lawn. Thanks to this, my family has stopped recognizing the fact that my mother and I exist, and my grandmother is slowly going insane because she lost her favorite child.

Suicide is selfish, and if any of you think about kicking the chair, please talk to me. Odds are there is another way out. Don't go hurting everyone around you.

    Stay hot, guys.
  10. So I study sexual habits and tendencies. I'm pretty interested in it, too. I like to know those interesting little tidbits about people, and how they came to be. Why people practice those fetishes are why I like to get to know people. I've been known to be a "sexual therapist" at times. I like to help people feel good about what they like.

What I ABSOLUTELY HATE, is seeing people be abused for their likes. I see a lot of it, too, so that doesn't help my temper. So this guy likes bondage, so that girl has a balloon fetish, WHO CARES? IF ANYTHING, IT'S GOOD TO HAVE THAT VARIETY IN THE WORLD. People should feel good about being diverse, and be proud to be different! Especially in bed! But NO. I see so many people get hurt because they open themselves up sexually to someone, and the other person is just inconsiderate.

So many people are hurt, confused, and scared by what they like, when most of the time, it's nothing too big! If anyone here is concerned about their fetishes, or is just too scared to tell anyone (but really needs to), you can just PM or email me at Hagan.Alexandra@gmail.com

On a lighter note, we get our secret santas on Wednesday. :D Until next week, stay hot.
  11. What the hoof is wrong with schools these days?

The GSA (Gay Straight Alliance) was meeting last Friday for an emergency announcement of a lost friend due to being bullied for her sexual orientation. Just as the announcement was made, the bible club stomped in and decided that we were wrong for mourning our friend and played really loud gospel music until we left the school grounds.

In fear of the bible club suing for lack of freedom of religion, the school isn't doing stomp about it. First of all, I thought we weren't allowed to preach religion in public schools? Second, I'm pretty sure that was a hate crime. Jolene was a close friend of mine, and the way they interrupted the whole thing peeved me off to the point where I was screaming at them, louder than the music, until GSA dragged me out of the school.

That was probably smart, because I was ready to punch them out. So, that's my rant this week, and I can't believe I've been doing this for over a month now. Solar signing out, stay hot guys.
  12. Okay, so what's up with nerds getting judged for what they wear?

I see fillies and colts these days with their hippity-rap music, and their pants on the ground. And I get looked at funny for wearing a pair of Chandra's goggles? What gives? "Really? You don't look weird enough?" Is a comment I got this morning when walking through the halls. Yes, I like Magic the Gathering, what place is it of yours to look down on me? At least my clothes cover more than 30% of my body. :c

The logic of this is unreasonable. Especially with the kids who say "Ooh, I don't bully, that's mean and it kills people like Amanda Todd." (cue butthurt). In all my years, I have never seen a kid who follows the current definition of "normal" be abused for how they look. And it hurts me to see my friends, and other people who like to be obscure, be abused for what they like or what they wear.

/endrant. If you feel like talking to me, I'm not posting in the forums much recently for reasons unknown, so in you want to talk to me you can go to the chat, or just PM me. Stay hot, my friends.
  13. I'm raising money for charity by playing games for 24 hours!!! :D YAY! I'm so excited. >w<

Seriously, I'm at a place called Weekend anime, and it's the best place I've ever been ever. <3
  14. So this is my first ever filler post. Yeah.

So I got a 3DS. It's nice, but all I want is a bra that fits me. I'm 16 and a DDD. KILL MEEEEE *plop*
  15. So I'm just gonna jump into this.

Teachers. I've known a few good ones. BUT PLENTY OF BAD ONES. More bad than good, sadly enough.

I thank, every day, those good teachers for being good and not taking advantage of the fact that they could sit there and flank us all over and not get fired. But I know plenty that do and it drives me insane. I've had things like skipping out on help, failing or "losing" work for no reason, and flat out not teaching happen to myself and many of my friends. If you have any, ANY teachers like this, REPORT THEM. They may not get fired, but maybe like a pay dock or something. Just stand up and do something about it because it's those people bringing up the kids of each generation, and we already know where it's headed.

A shorty this week guys, sorry. I'm a little under the weather. BUT BEING SICK WILL NEVER BRING DOWN MY RANTING SPIRIT! More next week, stay hot.
