So I was thinking, recently in the past couple of years there's been a lot more celebrity, internet stars, and now authors making more and more appearances in public to talk with their fans and followers etc, and some of us are quite blissfully unaware that they could be right next to your door! So I was walking past the WHS Smiths in my town shopping centre and spotted a poster advertising my favourite authors of all time coming here, Derek Landy. Now you may not have heard of him, but neverless, he has high respect from me and I praise him in the highest regards. So as you can imagine I was excited. I've got to admit, for the amount I read, I've never, ever met any of the authors, not one. I really should look into that... Especially since some are actually English, I don't really have any excuse x)
You live in Nottingham right? I think there's been quite a few around that area from what I can tell whilst staying over there on several occasions....Phillipa Gregory had a book signing I attended once around there.
