Part 1 Spoiler Luna stands before Tainted, the one responsible for creating the chaos in ponies dreams. Each time Tainted has escaped but now she has to fight. In the past, Tainted wasn’t so resentful, but being sealed away in Tartarus has made her even more so. Knowing her capabilities, Luna hopes to end this before anypony gets hurt. “Tainted, please stop this! The one who did this to you is dead, nopony else is responsible.. you have to stop!” begs Luna, hoping to get through to Tainted. But Tainted seems uninterested in her words, only more eager to fight. “Rosa?” asks Tainted, seeming to chuckle as she hears that name. Luna is puzzled as to why Tainted is laughing but keeps her guard up. “I know she’s dead, I killed her myself!” shouts Tainted as she brings out her daggers, not showing one hint of running away this time. Shocked at this news, Luna feels she should have known. Now that the truth is revealed, Luna can finally fight without worrying about Tainted’s mental state. This was no longer the innocent mare from sixteen years ago, not anymore. “I will not allow you to exist, we gave you a chance to change, Tainted. But you chose to hurt those who had nothing to do with your suffering...leave them out of this and take it out on me instead!” suggests Luna, her duty in protecting everypony was her first priority. Tainted smirks at the thought, who better to take out her anger then Luna herself, “Why not, after you fall, your sister is next!” shouts Tainted as she charges forward, daggers ready. Luna quickly dodges the two strikes and swings for Tainted’s head, but the attempt is blocked by the daggers. “Don’t take me so lightly, Luna! I might just get serious…” Tainted’s tone is serious, and in a way, cruel. Luna can see that nothing remains of Dark at all. Just an empty shell of her former self. “I see, so you want me to fight you seriously? Very well, I shall oblige you,” says Luna, moving back a few feet from Tainted. With her magic, Luna’s sword becomes five, though they are just as dangerous as the real thing. Laughing, Tainted finds this amusing, “You’re going to use that cheap trick on me? Go ahead, it won’t work,” Luna runs forward, but vanishes and appears behind Tainted, catching her off-guard, but only grazes her ear. Wincing in pain, Tainted puts a hoof to her own ears, looking at the blood from the wound. Furious, she shouts out, “How dare you!” Tainted makes her move, using her black mist to conceal herself. Trying to sense where she has gone, Luna uses a spell to disperse the mist, Tainted is gone. “Seems somepony learned a new trick while she was sealed away,” said Luna. Tainted appears again and makes a strike for Luna’s neck, but it proves pointless as Luna’s blade blocks it. “You have so much to learn, Tainted, I’m disappointed in you.” mocks Luna, trying to make Tainted angry so she makes a mistake. Tainted is left wide open as Luna casts a spell into her point blank, “What?” says Tainted, reeling at how fast Luna managed to get her open, she is pushed back from the impact of both the spell and the sword. Breathing heavily from the damage inflicted on herself, Tainted can feel something’s different than last time; Luna isn’t holding back anymore. Luna’s eyes lock on to Tainted’s own, making her back away a bit, “What’s the matter, Tainted? Are you that surprised?” asks Luna in a condescending tone. Knowing she has Tainted on the defensive, Luna again goes for the finishing blow but stops halfway leaving Tainted puzzled and confused. Luna lowers her sword but tries to approach Tainted, hoping to try one last time. "Stay away!" says Tainted as she casts a spell as a warning right in front of Luna, making her stop. "Don't you dare treat me like a damn filly, Luna! I don't care about you or anypony else! I despise you!" shouts Tainted as she grits her teeth in anger. Part 2 coming soon!
