Okay, so yeah, this whole thing is you know, because someone wanted me to share this kind of thing. Recently I've been writing a whole bunch of pony vs pony matches that mostly involve my characters. On a rare occasion, they involve actual canon characters. Right now I don't really have much on me in terms of anything being saved, except for one whole match right here, between two of my OCs, Mat Joker, and Rush. ------------------------------------------------------------ Mat and Rush met in the center of the ring. Mat offered a hoof to Rush, and Rush just stared at it, pushing it back down onto the mat. Mat and Rush touched heads, both of them saying words to each other as the Pink Pegasus Mare who was refereeing the match came by and attempted to separate the two with her hooves a bit before making a motion to the timekeeper pony. He rang the bell for the match to begin. In an instant, the two quickly grappled each other. Mat quickly flipped Rush over with a hoof drag, but Rush quickly recovered to give Mat a hoof drag of his own. Mat quickly got up, spinning to trip Rush, quickly going for a cover, Rush kicked out before one, and did the same thing to Mat. Mat also kicked out before one. Rush and Mat were both up simultaneously and stared at each other for a moment, then Rush rushed Mat, hitting him with a hoof in the face, Mat responded with a hoof of his own, but Rush grabbed it and gave him another hoof drag, before running off the ropes. Mat quickly got up, and Rush clotheslined him down. Mat slowly got up to his hooves as Rush ran to bounce off the ropes again. Rush came back, but Mat jumped high into the air, dropkicking Rush down with his hooves. Rush quickly rolled out of the ring, under the bottom rope, to hang on the outside. Mat rushed to bounce off the ropes, but Rush quickly maneuvered himself behind a corner turnbuckle. Mat stopped for a moment, and gave a slight smirk, he ran towards the corner turnbuckle, hopping on top of it, then hopping off, sideways landing on top of Rush, as both stallions hit the ringside floor, Mat rolling off of Rush. The Red Stallion got up, holding a hoof into the air, motioning to the crowd. He quickly got Rush on his hooves and rolled him into the ring, before getting into the ring as well, covering Rush. The referee counted, One… Rush kicked out at one. Mat got up, quickly rushing the ropes, jumping up on top of them, backflipping off to do a moonsault on Rush, but Rush got his hooves up, hitting Mat as he descended. Mat stumbled back due to the impact, and Rush got up, taking the full advantage to spin Mat around, grappling him from behind. Rush quickly gave him a German Suplex, his hooves were still connected though, as he had bridged for the pin. The ref again counted, one… Mat kicked out at one. Rush shook his head a bit as he turned Mat over, before locking in his back hooves, before bending over backwards to grab Mat’s muzzle with his front hooves, going for a submission. Mat groaned a bit due to the submission, gritting his teeth as he reached a hoof out in an attempt to grab the ropes. Mat slowly pulled himself to the ropes and grabbed the bottom one. Rush instantly let go of the submission, lying on the canvas, just having a look of shock on his face for a moment, before getting up. Rush motioned for Mat to get up. Mat rolled out of the ring, to get up. He slowly got onto his hooves, just in time for Rush to suicide dive into him, pushing him into the guardrail. Mat hit, back first into it, sending the red stallion down. Rush got up, taking a few steps back as Mat sat up, and quickly ran towards Mat, looking to kick his head right off, Mat quickly moved under the guardrail to dodge the attack. Rush took a look over at Mat, who quickly got up, and hopped onto the guardrail, jumping off to hit Rush with a hoof, sending him back a few steps. Rush jumped back towards Mat, headbutting him in the muzzle, and the two began to trade shots on the outside. The ref looked at the two, and she began counting them out. Rush grabbed Mat with his hooves, and whipped him towards the steel steps. Mat hopped over them, clearing them, landing on the other side. Rush quickly ran up and dropkicked the steel steps into the back of Mat’s legs though, taking him down. The Green Stallion took a look at the referee, noting she was at six right now, and walked over to Mat, sliding him into the ring, before reentering as well to break the count. Rush was getting booed a bit for his earlier action, but he shrugged it off as he ascended the turnbuckle to the top. He jumped off, backflipping for a shooting star press, landing on top of Mat, hooking one of his back legs with a hoof for the cover as the ref counted. One…. Two…. MAT KICKED OUT! Rush yelled that he was going to end it as he lifted Mat up, and quickly spun him around, Mat’s back was facing Rush, but Mat backflipped, hitting Rush with a hoof. This dazed Rush long enough for Mat to get back up, and quickly grapple Rush, hooking both his hooves while putting his head in between his legs. Mat quickly lifted him up, doing a one-eighty as he slammed Rush by his head onto the canvas. Mat rolled Rush over slowly, going for the pinfall. The ref counted, One… Two… Rush kicked out! Mat quickly picked Rush up, and delivered a suplex, but Rush’s back hoof accidentally caught the referee. Mat looked back, seeing Rush and the referee, who was down. He went to check on her, wondering if she was alright. He wasn’t paying attention to Rush, who was getting back on his hooves. When Mat found out that the ref was alright, that she wasn’t hurt, Rush made his move, he quickly grabbed Mat from behind and lifted him up. Rush tossed Mat halfway across the ring with the German Suplex, and Mat landed directly on his head. Rush quickly jumped on top of Mat, pointing to the ref with a hoof to count the cover. The ref nodded and she made the count, one… two…. TH… MAT KICKED OUT BEFORE THE THREE! Rush turned to the Referee, clapping his hooves together, saying that was three. The ref shook his head, only clapping her hooves twice and almost had them touching for the third time. Rush rubbed his face with a hoof, he looked extremely shocked and even a bit angry at the whole thing. Mat was using the corner turnbuckle to pull himself up. Rush turned towards Mat, and rushed him into the corner, going for a clothesline with his hoof, but Mat got out of the way. Mat used the ropes for Leverage, jumping up and kicking Rush in the back of the head with his hooves, before using his to roll Rush up for a pinfall. The Pegasus mare counted, One….Two…. RUSH KICKED OUT. After Rush’s kickout, Mat quickly grabbed Rush’s back legs and turned him over, getting him in a Brayston(Boston) Crab. His hooves continue to arch Rush’s legs up, but Rush slowly pulled Mat to the ropes, resting a hoof on the bottom rope. The mare told Mat to break the hold and he did. He slowly moved to the other side of the ring, waiting for Rush, making a motion for him to get up. Rush slowly got to his feet, and Mat quickly rushed at him, going for a superkick with his hoof, but Rush ducked under, and tossed him over the top rope. Mat grabbed the ropes, though, landing back first on the apron. Rush climbed through the ropes to the apron, picking Mat up to his hooves. Rush grabbed him from behind, lifting him up and backdropping him right on the apron, and both stallions fell at ringside. The Referee began counting, holding up her hooves. 1…. 2…. 3…. 4…. 5…. Both Mat and Rush were slowly getting up then. 6…. 7… Both of them had hooves on the apron…. 8… 9… Both Stallions slid back into the ring, breaking the count, and continuing the match. Both of them slowly got up, hitting each other. Mat would hit Rush with a hoof, then Rush would hit him back. They would repeat this for a while until Mat went for a clothesline, but Rush would duck, lifting Mat up above his head, Mat being seated on his shoulders. Rush quickly reached up to hit his finishing move, but Mat slid off his back, landing behind Rush. The red stallion had a smirk on his face as he grabbed Rush from behind. He lifted Rush back-first onto his shoulders, wrapping his hooves around his gut and his neck. The red stallion yelled as he jumped up, turning sideways, “BURNING HAMMER!” He drove Rush, head first into the mat, landing on his side. Rush was down, as Mat slowly crawled over for the cover. The Refereeing Pegasus Mare slapped her hoof against the canvas to count, 1…2…3! She motioned to the bell keeper and the bell was rung as Mat slowly got up to his hooves, and she raised his front hoof in Victory.
