Hm...I have a lot of favourites... 1. Legend of Zelda 2. Medal of Honour 3. Battlefield 4. Call of Duty
Meh...I've seen worse.. *Logical thinking* Wouldn't the military nuke the invasion force before they got here?
I found MW2 amusing. You could blow up stuff with throwing knives and get virtually no recoil on some guns. I still thought it was pretty good though.
The Legend of Zelda series has been my companion since childhood. It's just about my favorite because of the memories I developed growing up with it. Now that I'm older, I feel like moving on toward other great franchises (Halo, Elder Scrolls, the like). But Zelda will always be there for me. So long as it keeps going, I'll keep playing it; and if it stops, then I'll revert back to the older titles.
It's really impossible to pick just one; Freespace 2, any Shin Megami Tensei title, Skies of Arcadia, are just the ones on the top of my head.
I have 2, I love the Shadow Hearts series. Somewhat recently i have gotten into the Elder Scrolls Series.
I really like Mega Man and Zelda, it really depends on what mood I'm in. If I'm in an adventurous/heroic mood, Zelda. A "time to act stupid"/serious mood, Mega Man.
I'd say the only series that has really never failed has been the Advanced Wars series. Through the original to Dual Strike they threw in something new every time, every making it better. Then they completely demolished all but the basic workings of the game, and built Days of Ruin. The post-apocalyptic setting of Days of Ruin gave it a much darker feel, way in contrast to the colorful and almost happy tones of the previous ones. And it worked really well. I enjoy the Call of Duty series, but as my favourite game critic once said, a game has to stand up on its single player for it to be considered a good game (I love you, Yahtzee). And Call of Duty doesn't really do that. And on top of that, Black Ops 2 looks absolutely godawful. Its like they realized that now that Halo as a series has ended, theres an entire fanbase to be captured if they do a "futuristic" war game. Its like the worst of both worlds, and I'm disappointed. Though I get the bad feeling that regardless of how terrible it is, I'll still give in and shell out sixty bucks for it.
Right now im really in to the Assassins Creed and Half Life series. Both are awesome. Hard to choose but...either one of the above..the Star Wars Knights of the old republic series, or the Star Wars Battlesfront series.(GIMME BATTLEFRONT 3 LUCAS!!)
Hah, Star Wars Battlefront is a lot of fun. I still play the original sometimes on PS2. I need to get the second game again....
My Favorite series are... 1. Sonic The Hedgehog: I've been a sonic fan since I was 4 years old (95) And while I may HATE what the majority of the fanbase has become and may not care for all of the newer games, sonic will always be one of my favorites, the games, the cartoons & anime, and especially the Archie Comic are all things I love. 2. Mega Man: The Blue Bomber is the best in platform gaming! But yeah love the Classic Mega Man games, also enjoy the X & Zero series. 3. Disgaea: Best JRPG series ever, cartoony demons, sexy demon gals (like Etna) Exploding penquins, level grinding, stacking, attacking, LV 9999, 100's of Hours of Gameplay, manly fancy...... Yeah Disgaea is jus a real fun zany series 4. Kingdom Hearts: Mix's retro Disney & Final Fantasy Magic with original characters & story line for a pretty fun time. 5. Capcom Fighters: I may hate what the company has become, But i've always and will always love their fighters.
