^.=.^ wow lol sounds fun. I'm not really into Kingdom Hearts it not really my kind of game, it is pretty cool a pretty unique crossover type game.
Oddly enough, the cross-over element is the weakest part of the game. In my opinion, the over arching story is far more interesting than the little mini-stories of each new area. They're so flat and lifeless compared to the story of one child sailing over oceans of stars to find his best friends that I feel sorry wishing they'd get on with it. Later games have improved on this somewhat. But I do like the combat. While it does have a menu, it's only for the advanced stuff. If you just want to whack a bad guy, then you mash X to your hearts content.
Kingdom Hearts.I loved that game so. I got bored of the series, however, as the games just dragged on too much to keep my interest... That Lion king world on two... Sora was cute! Little mermaid world was disgusting. Bleck. My favourite FF game is forever VII. X is another I game I could only get so far into.I can't even remember how far I got on that, but I think that I got past chasing Sin, and to this weird plant thing... I may have got further... I need to play X again now.
Fun? Its BETTER than fun. I was playing it for years, then re-playing, replaying, till my DS broke....
Yes and my word, yes! What on earth were they thinking?! That world was good in the first game. It was one of the few worth doing and they decided to compete with Guitar Hero instead?
I've completely mastered 1 and 7. Also I've done every combination of team members for the FF1 remake for the DS. I still have my limited edition FFVII, but I don't have a Playstation anymore. For me it's incredibly fun coming up with new strategies to battle Emerald. Each materia compliments another but you also have to use as little as possible if you don't want to die in one hit. I still have yet to create a perfect strategy to fight emerald. There is always a chance he will drain my magic all the way. I usually go in with 2 guys having Final Attack and Phoenix paired and mastered and then the other will have Life 2 and Final Attack paired. People say that Ruby is harder, but I've already got a perfect strategy for him. Also, for my Emerald strategies, KotR and W-Summon are NOT ALLOWED! It's too overpowering and an idiot can beat him no questions asked.
Oh, wow. I actually forgot I posted this thread. Look at how much it blew up. Now, on tho responses. DoDo1234: OmniSlash? Pfft. Nothin against my ultimate illusion, All 8 Excaliburs. Genises890: Hey, thats ok. I cannot understand Left 4 Dead. The PeoticPony: Keep going, I love reading nostalgic rambles. Jhera/Yamiookami: I like Tidus, to an extent. When he's super hyper, he's annoying. Auron Is sweet. Tyro the Fox: You like KH too? Bring the love to this thread. No complaints here. PhatBoyFresh: Sweet. Please update this strategy here if you need to. I'll try to get FFVII back on my PSP. Dumb Hackers.
Kingdom Hearts? Only played 1 game. Easy and enjoyable I suppose. Wish there was more freedom in it though (I've only played KH: 358/2 days :derpe
I haven't played XII but i do know that Judge of Wings is one hard bugger from having played XII Reneveant Wings. I've got a fair few of the Final Fantasy games, though most of them are expansiony or spinoffy type things Final Fantasy III Final Fantasy XII: Renevant Wings Final Fantasy Tactics Advance Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2 Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of time All of them are awesome, except Crystal Bearers, the game has one of the most awkward combat systems I have ever encountered, also was able to finish it in less than six hours, which isn't something I expect going into a final fantasy game. My personal Preference is Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, The second one seems like it has too many classes and also seems a bit too easy, since laws are no longer mandatory to follow you can easily get rid of them if it's to your advantage, but the boss fights and laws in the first one made it completly epic, and it still sits at the top of my best games list today...Even if the final boss fight was a bit too annoying (Mainly cause you need law cards to actually fight without sending your entire party to jail) I could rant much more about this stuff, providing full in-depth reviews on each of the ones I've played, but that may take up just a tad too much space.
I meant XII Revenant Wings I need to explain more :derpe: Sorry if I was brief. btw what console do you have FF III on?
Oh no! That's the worst one so far, me thinks. The plot is boring and non-essential to anything plus the oddly absorbing ship building and exploration went along with the mystique of the Organisation XII. Even worse, the shoulder buttons on my DS broke, rendering the quick menu for magic and camera controls useless. They're not all like that! I'd pick up the PS2 versions; they're far better done.
I may be facing the same dilemma unless I can get inside my PS2 and clean the dust out. Hopefully that's all that's wrong...
Mine does'nt have dust inside. It has dust on the top. The problem with mine is, well, have you ever seen a PS2 in 100's of tiny pieces?
I am deeply sorry for your loss. Maybe eBay could help you with your problem here. You could get a 2nd hand one for around £50 if your a bit ruthless. Or maybe $80? I don't think in any other currency. The only other thing I can think of is emulators.
Oh yeah! Well, then the only other thing I could suggest is an emulator. I know that companies spit on them but they themselves are free and legal. It's downloading the games from the internet that they don't like. However, they haven't quite got the emulation down quite yet for PS2. This means you'll need a very powerful computer to run an emulator though. If you do, then you just install and shove the disc in your computer.
