Anyone? Modern Warfare, Modern Warfare 2, or Modern Warfare 3! Anyone? I've never gamed with a brony :3 (other than NTP20) lol forgot to add.. (xbox)
Nobody likes quickscoping....Its not a very good trick. Killing a Scout in mid air as a Sniper with a well placed headshot in Team Fortress 2 Is a good trick. Seriously,Ive done it. But thats just me....I do have COD:WAW.But its on PS3.
I hav nothing against quick scoping even tho I suk at it. I think mw2 is the best but I did hav fun hard scoping my bro in mw1
I only have the COD series on ps3 and pc. I wish my friends would gtfo the xbox live and just get on steam >.> But yeah, I do quickscope in games. Not much in COD, but mostly in those free fps games.Prob the only reason why I can attain a 2.0 kdr ._.
I like to imagine the real snipers doing this. you know, the IRL ones. I'm not a fan of it, it's not even really a skill. My favorite part is being called a scrub for "hardscoping"
I like being called a camper when all the guy calling me that is doing is coming down the same exact path right into my cross hairs quickscoping bah who needs it
quickscoping is an in-game skill which is blessed by try-hard cod fanboys but hated for its effectiveness in battle by the opposing team. Its cool for those who can achieve pulling them off but its just annoying to hear them show off and blabber about it. To some it ruins the game because its hard to counterattack a pro quickscoper. Then again, those random videos that we see in youtube are more likely the very few times someone can pull them off. Thats what I think about them. Thankfully quickscoping's rare in the Wii versions. Which are the ones I play.
I like to watch the montage videos sometimes. It's annoying in the game. I can do it occasionally, but not really that long distance. oh well. hardscoping ftw.
Funny thing is how I sucked at COD4... I mean technically I was atrocious I was like level 26 (no prestige) and lost every one on one I played with friends. Despite this, if I played FFA online I usually won, neigh, I usually slaughtered the opposition. Why? Because I didn't camp, I didn't quick scope. I hid. I used real tactics, from a real, non-fan-boy brain. I used silencers, proximity mines, I kept moving, knifed when I needed to, not when I could. I didn't use a beefed up gun, just an MP5. I threw the right grenade (flash/smoke) at the right time. Probably had games where I got 30 kills and 2 deaths.. That's not bragging either, if I played now, I'd suck. I know I would. It wasn't even that I was good, I just utilized tactics no one else did. Camping, quick scoping, the lot of it. It's killing the heart and soul of the FPS.
Everyone thinks snipers do the trick, but it's actually the MK14 with a silencer and an acog on it. It's so good that I have a gold one now.
I hated quickscoping... a glitch that gives you near-100% accuracy with an auto aim isn't skill. :\ I was great at hardscoping in MW2 with my main rifle being the WA2000. It was so much fun sniping with Cold Blooded Pro (since the only way to 1-hit were chest/headshots or hitting 2-3 times). I don't know how so many people struggled against Cold Blooded. I could spot anyone anywhere that was using it. Always thermal and cold blooded. For what limited time I did play MW3 I almost never sniped because the maps were way too small. Supposedly they brought back quickscoping to a toned down degree, but any time I died to a rifle was almost point blank blind shots.
I actually got into a game last night on MW3 with GeoPeanut and some of his friends. They were all quickscoping I however used every weapon I had. I actually have fun playing what is known as "Angency" mode where you basically use nothing but pistols. By far Agency mode is better than quickscoping in that you have to be pretty darn fast on your trigger finger.
