With that, there Will be endless possibilitys in gaming. I just thinking of a Adventure game connected to the Internet, where every player can hide treasure everywhere in the world (in Game items saved on GPS locations) and other players can collect them, how awesome would be that?!
Ok, someone was gonna do this anyway. Might as well get it over with! XD Now, I've tried that AR crap myself, and from what i can tell, it's glitchy and boring as hell. If this is the future of gaming, i will fear the future like a dentist appointment.
So, what, geocaching with a video game element? AR stuff will become more frequent in the future, most likely, just like 3D, but I don't think that game companies are going to abandon core button-pressing non-3D gaming anytime in the near future. At least not until games become more like full-body virtual simulations ala .hack
Well i just think its only to expensive right now. Such glasses without the game would cost more than a usual gaming console. Which means nobody would buy it. And something like .hack is still very far away. And i dont think it would eb that glitchy when it would be made very professional. Those silly small games are useless. The graphics are also bad but when there would be spended more time into the software like in Skyrim or BF3 or something like that, it could look very awesome and give a pretty nice view. Just think of a game like Amnesia but in your own house moving
